Nothing implies that Oda changed Zoro's opponent. You are making way too many assumptions trying to create a backstory for why Oda made King's powers the way they are. You don't know Oda.

You're merely grasping at straws because you didn't get ZKK, and now you're hoping that ZKK was Oda's original plot that he switched last minute. That's next level cope.

When you get a big new power you test it.. So no Luffy didn't use AdCoA on Chapter 1010 and 1011 and he used AdCoC for the first time.. Just like when Sanji tested out his new Raid Suit that he eventually destroyed later, he didn't use CoA with the Raid Suit.. The whole point of getting a new ability is testing out to it's full extent..

Kaido has done no touch when he needed to match Luffy for Sky splitting and half Sky splitting..
