i know several examples to the contrary, and know several doctors (one of which is a surgeon for children) who are vehemently against this practice because of the health and mental health risks.
im sure you can find some doctors who have religious bias who twist some shit to also downplay it, but i dont give a fuck about them.

I forgot to tell some guys complain about loss of sensation/sensibility in the glands post-circumcision. Mostly adult males that undergo it. Infants are not aware enough to notice the difference so they mostly have no complaints, while adults might feel like they lost something.
