I believe we have become Gluttonous (obesity epidemic), Envious (social media obsession, a desire to change our physical bodies), Lascivious (OnlyFans and other forms of softcore pornography, and of course, hookup culture and extreme pornography), Prideful (it's literally celebrated), Wrathful (current social unrest, the demands for reperations, violent protests), Lazy (slothful in our desires to do as little as possible, to be indolent online and obsess over video games and other media), and Greedy (in our materialist nature, always needing the newest thing). These are all mainstays in the current zeitgeist -- in modernity.

I've heard people shirk off the idea of being giving, with arguments such as "what is in it for me," of being humble, through their ardent opposition to it.

Sin should be Anathema. We should not revere it.
This dude been cooking in this thread.

Bro is enlightened.

jews remove their foreskin too??
I thought they invented baptism lol

I also wish I were baptized, but I heard it is a very painful process when you are already grown up. I am scared of it. But with a more beautiful penis I might be more confident.

And who created the one that created him ad infinitum leads to infinite regression, which cannot exist.
But why do we need to insert a god creating the universe when the universe could just be eternal?

At least we know the universe is a thing, the same isnt true for any god

Because the universe has a starting point and came into existance after major energy was put into tge Big Bang. Meaning something was there before to initiate the process, something that can produce that necessary energy.

The big bang being the starting point of the universe is a popular misconception, especially among theists who want to use it to justify their belief in a god that doesnt have any evidence supporting his existence.

And we are still back at this anyway then

An eternal universe is not contradictory with the idea of god tbh
it isnt, but god isnt required for the universe to exist then.

And the evidence against God's existance is?
depends on what exact concept of god you are talking about.

but generally, there is no evidence against the existence of a supernatural entity.

but good thing i dont need any such evidence, since im just questioning god claims without claiming god cant/doesnt exist.

this shifting of the burden of proof only works with a small minority of atheists who do make the positive claim that god doesnt exist
