Realistically, 5 chapters with no fluff reactions from the peanut gallery is enough to tie things up
Hakari vs Uraume is irrelevant anyway and only became important because it got off screened and turned into a meme. Its resolution can take up 3-4 pages and it would still be too much.
What's more jarring is just how easily the merger plotline got nuked to nothingness. Unless the last chapter is an ambiguous ending where the merger might have been initiated but the good guys are blisfully unaware, enjoying what will be their last moments of triumph, Kenjaku's plan will reach Vegapunk levels of idiocy.
No Heian era flashback is also a huge missed oportunity. Light novels about it won't scratch the itch. Huge waste.

Tbh, if it was done better, there would have been no problem with the last battle against sukuna being even 1/2 of the series.
10/13 for Gojo vs Sukuna that was quite nice (just changing how Gojo was cut in half out of nowhere lol)
then 2 chap for Kashimo
then 4/5 chap for the gang to fight Sukuna with Yuta and Yuji fighting together.
Then 4/5 solo Yuji vs Sukuna
No Miguel, no Todo, no Yutajo return, no solo Kusakabe fight, no endless repeat
We had at the very least 10 chapters void of any progress or real content
One Piece is even worse yet less battle centre than JJk.
