How the fuck is Jinbe bandaged up? Man didn't fight or clash with anyone, all he did was carry some boxes.:snoopy:
That is typical Oda…
Just give people bandages to show how “difficult and dangerous“ the situation were, even though characters never took any damage. Like Sengoku in MF, guy had no scratches on him, but the next time we seen him he was completely bandaged up…just one example.

That panel hard carried the chapter.

I would like a scenario in which Kizaru and Akainu's brotherhood is highlighted again in a dramatic way. Like Kizaru decides to take revenge on the government for the mental breakdown they put him through by attacking Mary Geoise, in which the Holy Knights gang up on and kill him, prompting Akainu to finally explode and turn on the government.

BB could be assaulting the WG at the same time Akainu turns on it, adding Luffy, Dragon and Buggy, we might finally get Imu's version of Enel vs all.
What if we get Akainu and Teach finding themselves fighting on the same side for one instance?
All time GOAT team up?:pepemwai:

Kizaru scene was great. It's really rare to see characters in this manga interacting in a way that's so down to earth but can't deny that Oda can pull it off when he wants to.

The framing of the scene was fantastic. Sentomaru rowing away on his boat, Kizaru walking among the sea of fallen marines, the flaming island in the backdrop. The art definitely isn't as clean and clear as it was earlier in the series but Oda still managed to effectively set the tone and mood here.

What really sells the weight of the scene though is Akainu's "that was my bad, brother". Kizaru and Vegapunk's relationship might not have been that fleshed out but when a statement like that comes from Akainu, you can't help but empathize. Great character moment for both of them all in all.

No idea what Oda's cooking with Luffy and the SHs though. Lilith's explanation was left super vague to the readers but was still deemed good enough for the complete mood switchover that followed? Whole scene didn't work at all for me...
