Controversial If you still think Imu will not be the final villain after Egghead after what they have shown you are weird to me.

I did not read the thread but for the same reason I was convinced that Saturn would go down in Egghead, despite it seeming impossible a chapter ago, I'm convinced that Imu will be the final villain and taken care of after Laugh Tale (and not before), while Blackbeard has to be defeated before Laugh Tale

It's a matter of reading comprehension at this point

Imu has been well established as Luffy's main fight/destiny by now.

The reincarnation of Nika/Joyboy vs the tyrant that has enslaved the entire world for 800+ years.

The liberation of the world has been THE most important theme in OP for a while now.

Blackbeard could theoretically still be a "final" fight for the fate of the world (hinges on a tiny thread at this point) afterwards, but the most important fight of the series is clearly Luffy/Sun God vs Imu/Devil.

Oda has made this abundantly clear.

Luffy doesnt know Imu even exists...

Meanwhile, Blackbeard is responsible for the death of his brother.
Blackbeard is also holding his Granpa captured as we speak.
Not difficult to figure out that he will finish what he started in Baltigo and do something to Luffy's father.

If we also add Blackbeard kidnapping Luffy's friend, Shirashoshi the Poseidon, Blackbeard basically finished the Final Villain race while Imu hasnt even started. Everything revolves around Blackbeard, he is the one who moves the world. Imu is a nobody compared to Blackbeard.
Sun(God) vs Darkness, foreshadowed since Banaro island...

Except in this very arc, it was mentioned that Blackbeard is of a special lineage, and that his crew has the goal of conquering the world. He almost killed Law, and now has Garp kidnapped. Even Dragon is now worried about the conflict between the people, and not the WG.

Also going to kill/cripple Shanks as well.

They will both be defeated by Luffy, however one will come after the other

Also, Imu is very much a reactionary villain. He won over 800 years ago and only now is his empire finally showing cracks. The world is sinking, and the people know it, his nobles are running out of food, he has no more Warlords, and their replacement, the SSG, just died in the water this arc.

Whereas Teach is a proactive villain. Even when he slips up, he always seems to find a way to get something more out of it. He keeps growing stronger. Even now, he lost Koby...but gained Garp as a hostage. He let Law slip away...but now has 3 etchings and will soon know about Pluton and Poseidon.

There is a reason why Imu hates and fears both Luffy *and* Teach.

Imu is like the Final Villain - Kaguya
BB is like Sasuke Fight for the seat of hokage/Pirate king.

Idc about the sequence of these fights lmao
Imu = Madara
Blackbeard = Kaguya
Zoro = Sasuke

After Luffy is done with Blackbeard, he must fight Zoro to see if he's worthy to have the World's Strongest Swordsman as his subordinate; otherwise, Zoro claims the One Piece for himself.

What buisness does zoro have with one piece.
:kaidowhat:
Sasuke and BB are much suited together as naruto and sasuke was trying for the same goal of becoming hokage EOS. And Over here both of them wants to be the king of piratesm
