He doesnt but his fruit is very handy, even Oden couldnt get past it. I suppose someone like Katakuri would have zero problems though, he would just use his donuts and punch from whatever angle Barto left open.

The strawhats being on the defensive getting attacked on all sides would be dope as all hell. That way shanks, Blackbeard, buggy, and akainu can go after them without the strawhats having to go out of their way to find them all
Yeah doesn't help kubo was given 6 or whatever chapters to end it when it felt like the arc was only truly getting started. The Wano and Naruto final war of bleach but longer and better somewhat.
MHA was supposed to do something similar but horikoshi wasn't able to keep it going with his severe health issues and such.
I was expecting ywach to win and thus what you said happen, even leading into the hell arc.
Ywach was too important to go down that soon.
Technically Yhwach is not even dead, his somewhat alive corpse is being used as the soul king currently. An ironic fate for him really considering how he feared death.
