Lmao thats true! Vegapunk competing with Reed Richards in Dr Strange 2 for the "worlds smartest idiot"/"world's most stupidest genius" or something like that!
Oda couldn't resist doing more of his Roshi-esque self insert fetishism/gags rather than give us the Vegapunk we literally waited even decades for potentially.
Not to mention how IF Queen is Frankys father, that makes Franky having almost nothing with Vegapunk in this arc even worse, not to mention Franky spent 2 years with Vegapunks homeworld with his tech and research and even saw how he added devil fruits to objects, the initial research/blueprints for it at least! Also imagine Vegapunk finding out Franky accidentally blew up his labs?! Caesar, Judge and Queen would laugh so hard and Caesar would have found it so relatable! Wish we got that at Punk Hazard with him now especially lol.
That would be an amazing twist too tbf, it would actually redeem shitty perverted Einstein wannabe with the Lickitung tongue and may as well be Perosperos father too.
Definitely would make up for Egghead being so anticlimatic, underwhelming and thus disappointing and crushing too.
