With the exception of flying there's absolutely nothing Sanji is better in than Zoro.
Which is quite ridiculous since geppo is not really a high level feat. But whatever.
Zoro easily kept up with awakened hybrid Lucci's speed and mobility. Even with his eye closed. That proves he doesn't need it. And if he does need a lift, he orders it to some minions like Orlumbus, Law, Jimbei and even Sanji himself (remember TB)
