Law & Kid are dealing with major implications right now. They don’t have the time to be fucking around with Shs for fun.

Next we see Law he’ll be pulling some 4 D chess move to get a teach. If Kid not dead, training or attacking the island his goal.
Im guessing they teamed up with the main force of elbaf because they didn’t really have a choice, with their ships being destroyed and them being defeated

By who? Shouldn’t be anybody baring Luffy on the island stronger than he is. Oda not having luffy destroy kid if he still gives any fuck about the character. Him losing again not an issue long as everything put back in order.

The shank encounter was near character assassination. Him being a soild threat to the island till luffy steps in much needed redemption. Teaming up with SHs does nothing for the character but kill him completely.

No I was talking about Shanks

losing to Shanks might have forced Kid to team up with the elbaf government while he regains his strength

The only way that happens by force what I’m trying to say. Elbaf clearly aligned with shanks. Kids not Law/Luffy, he won’t try manipulating or befriending the locals.

Hell attempt subjugation, or allying with some rogue Wano force. currently he can whoop anybody on the island. Barring Luffy, an maybe burn mark character.

I still think there is some Kind of political Dispute on Elbaf. Two forces fighting each other over ruling. Both fractions from Elbaf, one following Shanks (Leading Right now) and the foes of Shanks (cause of his bonds with the government and Garling).

and i guess Kid will join the foes of Shanks in a Battle against the other side. This war will Happen soon and Luffy will stand inbetween.

Ever ask yourself why Oda didn't show "much" of Kid awakening unlike Laws one?
We barely got one move, a basic awakening move.

Damned Punk is not a awakened move.

Luffy finisher is with awakening move
Law finisher is with awakening move
Kid finisher is a none awakening move

Why you think Oda did that?
Remember what Kid said when Law faced Big Mom, he said he didn't want to reveal his awakening to his rivals. I think he has a finisher move with awakening which he didn't used yet. Probably saved it for the worst possible scenarios. Remember even against BM and after beating her, Kid still had power.

Law had many awakened moves, like 5 well Kid had just one named move. And why? Oda save Kid full awakening fight style reveal, for later when he either face Luffy or someone else.

Kid power with awakening is still not clear, im sure he has more behind his df skill.
His awakening will be tricky and op once Oda reveal Kid full fight style.

Add adv CoC and you have a monster.
Kid role is not over guys, he will comeback far stronger and better.

All I want from Kidd is Haki feats. That is all I need from him. And maybe some speed feats.
If he gets those then I'm cool with him. But for now I don't think too highly of him, and that's all Oda's fault because he has three CoC users who he never showed using the ability, and Kidd is one of them (him, Sengoku and Hancock)
It's just wasted potential imo. Hopefully Oda will give him better treatment if he comes back.

Kizaruber Eats

THE KIZARUBER EATS, THE KIZARUBER EATS IS REAL!
I made a fanfic scenario of Kidd going to Egghead and meeting Vegapunk with a lot of gains from it:
The Victoria Punk, a blazing inferno of defiance, tore through the pristine skies of Egghead Island. Its cannons roared like enraged beasts, shattering the tranquility of this scientific haven. At the prow stood Eustass Kidd, a tempest of magnetic fury, his eyes burning with an insatiable hunger for conquest. He hadn’t just arrived at Egghead—he’d come to claim it.

"Heat! Wire!" Kidd’s voice boomed like thunder, the air crackling with the charge of his power. "Tear this place apart! I want Vegapunk to know we’re not here to ask—we’re here to take!"

Heat, a maniacal pyromaniac, unleashed a cascade of flames that bathed the sterile landscape in chaos. Wire, perched high on the ship’s mast, picked off security drones with surgical precision, his seastone-tipped rounds tearing through metal with lethal accuracy. Gig, the hulking brute, smashed through reinforced walls with bare fists, while Emma, the silent assassin, moved through the shadows, disabling vital systems with deadly grace. Overseeing it all was Big Pan, their tactician, barking commands with ruthless efficiency, orchestrating the assault like a symphony of destruction.

This wasn’t a mere pirate raid. This was a revolution. Kidd, driven by his indomitable will and unyielding belief in his own strength, had come to seize not only Vegapunk's legendary intellect but the future itself.

The chaos didn’t go unnoticed. The six Vegapunk satellites, each a fragment of the genius himself, turned their attention to the unfolding madness. Shaka, the calm and calculating "Good" Punk, watched with a mixture of intrigue and concern. Pythagoras, the "Wisdom" Punk, frantically processed tactical data, circuits overheating from the strain. York, the "Greed" Punk, wailed in dismay, her treasures and snacks at risk.

Atlas, the impulsive "Eat-All" Punk, watched in awe, eyes wide with excitement. “Wow! They’re like walking explosions! Shaka, can I join them? Please, please, please?”

Even Lilith, the ruthless "Evil" Punk, who initially scoffed at the pirates' recklessness, found herself admiring their audacity. "Such raw power," she murmured, a spark of admiration flickering in her eyes. "Maybe they’re worthy adversaries after all."

Kidd was a force of nature. His magnetic powers tore through Egghead’s defenses, warping metal and shattering the island’s technology with every step. He confronted Shaka, his mechanical arm crackling with deadly energy. "Vegapunk," he growled, his voice heavy with command, "I'm not here to negotiate. I’m here to make a deal. Your knowledge for my protection."

Shaka, recognizing the iron will of the pirate before him, saw the potential in such a dangerous alliance. A nod of agreement passed between them. Shaka knew Kidd could be more than just a destructive force—he could be a catalyst for change.

But Kidd sought more than technology. He craved the deeper truths of the world: its history, the forbidden knowledge of the Void Century, and the mysteries of the Ancient Weapons. He debated with Vegapunk, probing for answers about the World Government's stranglehold on the truth. His hatred for the oppressive World Nobles was palpable as he vowed to tear down their corrupt regime.

In turn, Vegapunk revealed forbidden glimpses of knowledge, tantalizing hints of the government’s darkest secrets. He saw in Kidd not just a pirate, but a force that could challenge the very foundations of power, disrupt the status quo, and ignite a new era.

The unlikely alliance between Kidd and the Vegapunk satellites became a fusion of chaos and genius. Pythagoras, fascinated by Kidd’s magnetic abilities, refined them further, enabling Kidd to manipulate gravity, create devastating magnetic shields, and even tap into the planet’s magnetic field for cataclysmic attacks. York, ever the opportunist, eagerly designed new weapons for the Victoria Punk, transforming it into an even more fearsome vessel.

Lilith, once dismissive, found herself drawn to Kidd’s unrelenting spirit. She challenged him to a duel—brains against brawn—and was shocked by his strategic brilliance. He wasn’t just raw power; he was a tactician in his own right. Impressed, she accepted his offer to join the crew, adding her own lethal ingenuity to their arsenal.

Atlas, with her infectious energy, became the crew’s heartbeat, her exuberance and voracious appetite lifting their spirits even in the darkest moments. Her ability to devour machinery and projectiles proved invaluable in battle, turning the tide in their favor time and again.

Vegapunk himself became obsessed with unlocking the full potential of Kidd’s Devil Fruit. He enhanced Kidd’s mechanical arm with advanced technology, allowing him to control magnetic fields on an unprecedented scale. With his new powers, Kidd could summon magnetic storms that disrupted Devil Fruit abilities, bend the fabric of space-time, and unleash destruction on a scale that dwarfed even his wildest dreams.

Killer, too, reaped the rewards of their alliance. Vegapunk, moved by Killer’s loyalty and tragic past, developed a cure for the Smile-induced affliction that had cursed him for so long. Finally free from the maniacal laughter that once tormented him, Killer could express his true emotions—his newfound smile a testament to his gratitude and unwavering bond with Kidd.

The Kid Pirates had transformed. No longer just a fearsome crew, they were now the Punk Pirates—a fusion of raw power, cutting-edge technology, and the rebellious spirit of anarchy. With Vegapunk’s genius at their side, they were ready to challenge the very foundations of the world. The corrupt World Government trembled at the thought of the storm heading their way.

The "Punk" in Kidd’s name no longer symbolized simple savagery. It was now the anthem of a new era, a cry that echoed across the Grand Line, a proclamation of rebellion and revolution. The Punk Pirates had risen—and the world would never be the same again.

Let’s delve into the parallels between Eustass Kid and Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece, specifically during the Wano Country & Egghead arcs:

Kid’s recent defeat by Shanks mirrors Luffy’s losses throughout the series. Just as the Straw Hats grew stronger after setbacks, Kid’s resilience will likely lead to growth.
His ship, the Victoria Punk, holds sentimental value, much like the Going Merry did for Luffy. Losing a ship doesn’t mean the end of the journey; it’s an opportunity for rebuilding and continued progress.
While Luffy will ultimately become the Pirate King, Kid’s defeats and growth may position him as a formidable rival. Their paths seem to mirror each other, setting the stage for an eventual clash.
I think we’re seeing the path clear for Kid to be the antagonist of Elbaf, even with as shaky as it looks for now. We can pretty confidently say Shanks is not going to be on Elbaf.. Big Mom is definitely still a possibility, but she has much bigger issues to actually gather her crew first and get to Elbaf (including rescuing Pudding). I think Kid will come back having gone through the same growth that Luffy went through in the Udon mines and by the time Luffy gets to Elbaf, Kid will actually be strong enough to be his rival.

Kid has not served his entire narrative purpose. And the fact that he has not yet shown off his Conqueror's Haki is a clue to this.

Right? Thank you!
