I can see Zoro unlocking CoC and having weak CoC. Oda keeps having people astounded by the fact that Zoro is an underling. I don’t think his COC could ever be too big or strong sense he’s still subservient to Luffy.

I thought D Sanji’s take on Rayleigh was bad. Where does Franky come in at?
I guess knowing how to to coat a ship makes you a parallel of Frankly?

They've hardly missed their chance. CoC is, so far, fundamentally pointless and only exists to say "LOOK HOW AMAZING THIS CHARACTER IS!!!" Presumably it will have some more interesting uses, but those interesting uses will only be used by like three characters out of the handful that have it.

Luffy's CoC use was a slow burning story over sixty odd chapters where Oda was really starting to introduce the concept of Haki to the readers. We aren't going to get a story like that for Zoro and Sanji. Or Law, or Sabo, who are the other young likely CoC users. These characters will just get one moment in the series that's really meant to be hype as fuck. Or if they're unlucky (Law and Sabo, that is), the Kid treatment of "yeah, he has CoC" without us even seeing it.

For Zoro, his big moment simply hasn't came yet. When Zoro uses CoC, it's going to be a major highlight for him. Everything points to Zoro having a huge role in the end of Wano- that's the moment he'll use CoC, because it'll be the moment that has the most effect on the reader. Storytelling 101. He won't show it against the likes of Monet (though we could have gotten a brief sign there) or Pica, who were well beneath him, and in arcs where Zoro wasn't all that important. He wouldn't show it in Fishman Island, because that was where we got the big Luffy takes out half an army CoC scene and another CoC user would make that moment less special- the same reason why only Luffy used it in the Marineford War, despite there being loads of users and potential users there. Wano, though, is an arc where Zoro's been very important, and it just makes sense for him to show it for the first time here.

Sanji's not as likely to get it as Zoro, but if he does, it'll be after him. Zoro's always ahead of Sanji in their little rivalry, Oda was never going to give Sanji CoC before Zoro shows it.

I don't think Mihawk has it so I don't see Zoro having it, it would give him an unfair edge just like it makes Shanks superior as an overall combatant despite having infinitesimally slightly lower sword skill to Mihawk.

At this point advanced CoC if it exists will be unlocked by Luffy alone in the strawhats, so what is the point of giving basic fodder blasting CoC to any of the other strawhats?

CoC doesn't make him superior to Mihawk...

CoC doesn't make him superior to Mihawk...
My argument comes from two assumptions, if you want to dispute the base assumptions then I'll bow out as we are theorycrafting at this point either way and you have no concrete evidence that can deny my two assumptions.
Advanced CoC exists
Mihawk does not have CoC

Advanced CoC if it exists, absolutely could and most likely would make Shanks a superior combatant to Mihawk while having a comparable/ slightly inferior level of swordsmanship, Shanks wasn't a Yonko when they fought so this stands to reason that this is a way Shanks' strength could have exploded to this level even after losing his arm.

Likewise it would be cheating if Zoro beat Mihawk through the application of CoC in anyway in their fight if Mihawk is unable to use CoC.

I swear all the last threads of Jo Senpai and he fighting alone against multiple fandoms at once, senpai is for sure a Legend:
:steef::steef:

For the thread:
I would kinda disappointed if Sanji and Zoro don´t getting CoC even after someone like DonChinjao or Doflamingo getting it.
Rayleigh should get surpassed by Zoro, I hope in terms of CoC he do it too.
Luffy crew was never meant to surpass Roger crew but Shanks

Chinjao rivaled Garp, Zoro could never
Chinjao also led a crew
Doffy was the joker.

I do think both Zoro & Sanji have the makings of a Conqueror, more so in the earlier's case, but I honestly don't think either will be getting it for the following reasons:

1. Like has been pointed out already CoC is a very limited ability and it's only confirmed use till date is to help clear out fodder level characters, as such it It'd make for a pretty useless powerup. So I just don't see any sense in Zoro or Sanji having it. Yes it'd be cuul if they got it, but that's all it'd be ^^".

2. At this point, it's very apparent to me that CoC is a Luffy ting or rather more generically, a PK ting. I feel it's something Oda is kinda using to spice up Luffy's journey to the PK throne and show his growth as a contender for the seat. I mean think about it, most of the confirmed CoC users in the series are either very prominent pirates that have gunned for are gunning for the PK seat or pirates Luffy faced or will be facing in the future. Chinjao, Doffy, Katakuri, Kaidou, Linlin, Shanks, Teach, Roger, Newgate. To add, the Admirals are just about as strong as the Yonkou and stand at the top of the OP verse together with the Yonkou yet Sengoku is the only the admiral that has been confirmed to have CoC and even that was confirmed in a friggin vivre card..lolz whereas all of the Yonkou have CoC and the reason is simple, Luffy is gonna have to go through all of the Yonkou, but he it's very unlikely that he defeats the admirals. If any of the current admirals have CoC it'd be because said Admiral will be Luffy's opponent at some point in the series imo. Even with Katakuri, I'm almost certain that the only reason that he has CoC is because he was a sort of progression point for Luffy. Everything about Katakuri screams CoO specialist. I don't think there have been any CoC users in the series where any of their other Haki types have completely overshadowed their CoC like it is with Katakuri. CoC just feels very peripheral with regards to him imo and I think the reason for that is because he was given CoC simply because he was a sort of progression point for Luffy.

Sorry to hurt your feelings but Sanji and Zoro won't unlock CoC. They missed their chance before Yonko Saga to showcase CoC or drop an hint.

You don't unlock CoC when you are experienced with haki and already high tier.

Also it doesn't make sense for them to unlock it now when it's too late story wise.
They are not weak and inexperienced as Ussop to unlock haki this late.

Oda gave Zoro the Scary Aura like Cracker and Mihawk while Sanji has his wild emotions.

Shanks, Katakuri and Luffy : CoC
Mihawk, Cracker and Zoro : Badass Aura

Luffy doesn't have conquerors under him, maybe Yamato if she joins.
Zoro isn't Ray, Ray is a mixture of Sanji, Zoro and Franky.
You gonna take a big ass L. Chief.
