No, and I think I have explained in detail why It isn't. I'll try again:

- the Kings of the Reverie are not voted;
- the countries that partecipate at the Reverie are only a minority (50/170) and the others are just forced to follow decisions of monarchs they have never even heard of, much less voted;
- the real power lay in the hands of the Gorosei.

The democracy Is measured by the control that the people that are subject to the decisions have on the ones that makes them; not how the ones that make them, make them. As I have already said, two artistocrats that decide on equal grounds (voting) about the life of a farmer that didn't vote for them, Is not democracy at all.

Obviously, the compairson with the UN It's wrong. Your country, I suppose, decided using democratic procedures to be part of the UN, so every person gave, through elections, their opinion. In other words, chose freely to be part of that.
And not all: there are limits to the Power of the UN. If a UN decision Is in contrast with the constitution of your country, that decisions holds no power over you.

And so on.

Obviously in real life failing democracy can lead to disaster as any other from of Government, but as a concept we know It should be the way to go.

Anyway ! So I decided to do use your techniques and really analyze the story and I came up with a realization :

One Piece shouldn't be named "One Piece".

After all, this title is missleading. It's the story of Luffy, not the One Piece. Oda is ruining what we want to see when we read the manga, because what we want is the nature of the One Piece, but Oda constantly teases us mear wind. When there is no actual revelations in chapters about One Piece, why should it be called the "One Piece"?

Now.. They say that all the pirates are after the One Piece, but we only see a few ones and it's always the same perspective, it's so boring ! It's always about whitebeard or Shanks or Luffy.. but Oda doesn't care about little people... A WOMAN (Megumi Ishitani) had to step up and make the job for him with One Piece fan letter. And for the character that we see ? Oda thinks that one simple panel with them looking good at the camera is enough... What a way to sink the story!

The worse things is that we are in a fascist and authoritarian world but almost none of our main characters are affected by that ! Really, it pisses me off to see how little Oda cares about the relevancy of this setting. And what about Patriarchy ? Oda never touches on the subject ! It's like women are invizibilized and Oda only cares about men to appeal to his male readers ! It's like Oda never cared to show how intelligent and strong women are.

And another thing, One Piece talks about liberation but it's always KINGS that are put into places.. Like hello "democracy" ? I mean if you want to reproduce the system that created the world government, I wouldn't do it better ! Oda do not even think about the structures of power and domination... And capitalism ? Hello ?????

Oda ruined Zoro by making him care more about a promisse than his actual health ! And Sanji ? The guy was incapable of really accepting to chase his dream just because of a restaurant ! But worth ! He even questionned the capacities of his captain after the time skip after Oda showed us that they would all give their all for Luffy !

Really, Zoro and Sanji are the worth characters that Oda created, they have absolutely no value as Pirates ! Zoro is just a dumb guy with brute strenght, no deepness and Sanji is just a perv that needs to ask Robin for help to get out the hands of a fodder ! Oda ruined them by not giving them them proper fight. I mean we all know that the best way to make Sanji improve would be to fight a woman so why make him fight Big Mom ??? It should be him fighting her and not Kiddo and Unlawfull. Same for Kaido, Zoro is the first mate of Luffy, he shouldn't abandon him to Kaido, who we all know is stronger than Luffy !

Egghead is similar, it's once again a non strawhat story ! Kuma is irrelevant for the strawhats so why talk about him there ? Oda do not even care about his main characters anymore and focus on little people like Bonney and Kuma! Who cares about them ? They are no even interesting to begin with ! Give me more of Lucci ! And oh boi... Oda decided to kill Vegapunk.. but OMG he revived him and sent all the vegapunk to the sky... And Vegapunk ? The guy is a genius and he didn't even understand that by creating a character based on greed would backfire, ?? Nan mais allo quoi ? But the guy completely focused on Lilith ! Like it was her the problem.. Such a waste of character !

Now we are in Elbaf and what Oda does from the start ! A LEGO SPONSORSHIP !! I mean FFS, right ? We are in a fake world and right on the first chapter, Oda makes at least 42 mistakes in his drawings ! There is something wrong with him I tell you !

And Elbaf ? Zero originality. Elbaf should be like a dreams world with different realms floating all around. There should be vast references to the mythology of the northen countries, but what do we get ? Just a GIANT F TREE, some mountains and a big sword !

Really, this serie is ruined. And it's all Oda's fault ! You guys were right ! I was blind to your power analysis. I will now try to humble myself and really take a deep dive into better stories like Dragon Ball Z.

The One Piece is surely not even important for us so why even bother creating a story named "One Piece" ?

So Guys (because let's be honest, there are only guyz here) let's join together and create a better manga than One Piece ! That should be easy, right ? After all this story is trash everyweek, so there should be no problem and we are stronger united anyway !

Joyboy or Roger I don’t know how mfs are voting Shanks tbh. Shanks is probably one of the most interesting Characters in the series.
