What was the last movie you watched?

I've stopped watching horror movies, as they are not scary/good enough. If i can watch one or two of these, which one would you recommend to watch.
It depends on what you want.
If you want thrillers with a touch of horror, The Substance and Strange Darling are great.
For scary, Cuckoo and Oddity
Bloody mess, Terrifier 3 and Late Night with the Devil
Very dense, slow-burning horror, then Longlegs.

Cuckoo, besides being the worse one, was pretty scary to watch.

Smile 2 - 7/10 - Wow, I really didn't expect a sequel to be better than its predecessor, especially when we're talking about horror movies.

Venom 3 - 2/10 - Pretty bad, not even worth a guilty pleasure.

Transformers One - 9/10 - Megatron's villain writing was just amazing, might give it a re-watch.

I think this year was pretty good for horror, so many good films, like Substance, Smile, Longlegs, Terrifier 3, Strange Darling, Oddity, Cuckoo, Late Night with the Devil. And they are all different kinds of horror.

I watched most of the movies from your list:
The Substance - surprisingly good movie with a great message about beauty standards not only in Hollywood but in general.
Strange Darling - a good thriller. Tries to go the Kill Bill route with the Chapter titles out of order but it still maintains its own vibe.
Cuckoo - very weird movie. The acting was fine but the premise didn't do it for me at all.
Terrifier 3 (watched it a few days before I saw your post actually lol) - bonkers. Not so much a slasher as it is a blood tsunami.
Late Night with the Devil - best of the bunch imo

I saw Longlegs a few months ago. Tbh it didn't warrant the hype for me

Gladiator II - 4/10

Woah, what did I just watch? wtf were those colosseum fights lmfao, and Ridley Scott messing with history again for some cheap entertainment.
The drama, which was the high point of 2000s movie, doesn't exist in this sequence, the protagonist is an empty box. Denzel Washington's character literally saved the movie.
This is a cheesy action film, if you don't care much about history and a good script, you might like it.
But seriously I don't know what's wrong with Ridley Scott, his Napoleon film was already beyond terrible with those stupid war strategies.

The Wild Robot.(I saw it in theater weeks ago, but only now have I had the time to write this post.)
Excellent. An uplifting story that can tell you the meaning of life if you are willing to listen.
The Wild Robot tells us that the meaning of life is that, even though the world is not a perfect place and has ugly and horrible things in it, it is still a beautiful place that has great places for everyone to belong, great people for everyone to have in their lives, and great things for everyone to do in their lives. It tells us that we need to make our own efforts to achieve these things, and also to reach out to the great people we can have in our lives. And that, when we are together, we have even more strength to bring happiness to ourselves and others with each other's help. That way, we can keep the ugly and horrible things at bay.
The movie tells us this by the way Roz changed the animals on the island. The animals lived in an environment where the only thing that mattered was survival, no matter if their lives were sad with nothing to make them happy. And Roz, with all her Pure Good qualities, reached out to them all and turned them into a close-knit community.
I've followed DreamWorks my entire life, and this movie made me proud of the studio. It looks like DreamWorks is on its way to becoming the most heart-filled animation studio in the world, and I'm looking forward to it.
