This isn't the kind of story where we can get real strong female characters, alas.
Do you not read the same manga as us? Literally a female character dropping a giant warrior to his knees with minimal effort in this chapter.
Big Mom isn’t a woman? Ulti wasn’t a woman? Nami? Robin? Ripley? Boa Hancock? Any of the marine captains and Vice admirals? Stussy? Monet? Kuina? Smoothie?
That’s more powerful, influential female warriors than literally any other manga that isn’t focused specifically on a group of girls/women. Just like in the real world you aren’t going to see male captains surrounded by female warriors. This is a pirate world. Women obviously suffer in this world through sexualization and harassment throughout this story, including sex slavery, just like they did in the real world of pirates in human history.
It isn’t a better or more realistic story to simply insert powerful women in the name of feminism or representation. Doing that when you aren’t good at writing women, as Oda generally isn’t (with a few exceptions), makes your story worse.
