Whitebeard. Made arguably the best arc of the series what it was. Basically set the standard for strength, fame and accomplishing one's goals aside from Roger and we actually got to see what that entailed first hand. He's just an incredibly character, very cool, very formidable, placed family above wealth and other material desires and had the greatest death in the series and one of the best I've seen in a manga. Just a tremendous, larger than life character.
The real reason for the exclusion of Zoro is not because of how good his character writing is but because OP realizes this forum is a Zorotard circlejerk hence all preprogrammed bots will end up picking Zoro anyways. In reality, Zoro is extremely mediocre in terms of writing even relative to Onepiss standards which are already very low. He was a very good written character pre-TS and his peak moment is definitely up there among the greatest moments in all of animanga but post-TS, his writing has been non existent. And post-TS is already like 550 chapters which is longer than most mangas. He's a cool character who I love but writing wise, he's been cucked horribly and is extremely mediocre. When you compare him to characters from other animangas with higher writing standards, Zoro just falls lower. A bland character who had a lot of potential at one time who's been cucked by his horrible writer and is only being used for cash with his hype moments (because oda KNOWS Zoro feeds the masses). It's sad he's turned out this way but it is what it is.
