I don't really understand your opinion on the conflict, I don't know about old conflicts from before history, that may or may not have even happened, a state built on colonisation and genociding the colonised people today is evil
I also do not have superpowers, I am also not all aware about geopolitics and the issues everyone is going through, my goal is to help, I think just because I know about one evil and don't know about others doesn't mean that issue being evil is false,

I do in fact think Hamas should be defeated. I just don’t think the best way to do it is necessarily bombing Gaza until nobody is capable of fighting back.
The best way to defeat Hamas would be for the PA to do it and subsequently replace Hamas as Gaza’s ruling power. But they don’t have the capabilities for that. So I think Israel should sue for peace until the PA is strong enough to retake Gaza.
