Fraudkiji was blitzed by 1 HP weakened Garp and slammed his ass with a hakiless attack lmao.

Kuzan with countless fodders's help and Teach commanders, yet fodders were saying this :


The fodder characters lost faith in Kuzan and all the fighters present because they witnessed how effortlessly he rag-dolled them despite facing a gauntlet of challenges.

But the situation changed dramatically since :

Garp before Shiryu's stab, fodders lost hope :


After Shiryu's stab, fodders gained hope :

Afterwards , Weakened Garp clashed against Aokiji and then he threw him with a hakiless, nameless throw treating him as an after-thought to save Coby in which he succeded.

Without the stab, Fraudkiji's body would have been lost for an even longer period again.
Thank God the stab happened.

Can't even imagine what would happen if this was pre time skip garp let alone his prime version. You can see why Garp went all in for Coby when bums like these are all the faction has to offer

Idk who nicknamed him Janitor but it grew on me, I love to call him Supreme Janitor. I added the supreme part due to belief that Raiu is supreme grade.

You made good points, especially elaborating on #3 and the expectation/consequences for Garp/Aokiji if Shiryu took no damage whatsoever. People are simply spoiled by tanks like King, Kaido and BM...

As people before me said - nobody is putting effort in downplaying weak people, they do not waste time on such.
It means those who downplay Shiryu are those who are threatened by him, one way or another.
And plenty people are, from Admiral fans, Luffy fans, Law fans to even Yonko fans.

Shiryu is the 2nd commander of Blackbeard, paralleling 2nd commander of Whitebeard.
And we know Oden is a big shot from Kaido's top5 so imagine if Shiryu is above someone like Oden aka above Kaido's top5...

Even if he isnt stronger than them but only comparable, that is too much for Zoro's opponent for people to be comfortable.

Another thing, Shiryu is King v2.0. A nobody until he faces Zoro and then he even steals a show from not one but two Emperors... It's easy to imagine why people downplay Shiryu if you realize that he might steal the show from EoS Blackbeard. The fact that he was introduced as someone capable of negging BBPs as his equal did, doesnt help either.
Shiryu is probably the best salt mine we will ever see and I am super excited for his show off.
