I like how Kaido was okay with boiling one of the few people who knew about laughtale alive because his grandpa was mean to Orochis grandpa. Lol. I don´t know if it´s because Oden was a bad look and may have harmed his lifes goal of selling seastone weapons to the WG so Smoker could beat up east blue pirates, or because Kaido owed Orochi one for not being able to stop Orochi from robbing Wano of it´s most important sword. Also,it´s funny that Shanks didn´t give a shit about Kaido killing so many people in his friends country, but he wants to pearl clutch about Blackbeard so much. I guess all the kids who would have been killed in the flower city don´t count as part of the ¨new generation¨ lol
If you take on-screen literally, then it's Imu, of course, when he destroyed an entire country.
If you take on-screen "as written/mentioned in the manga in text form", then it will be (as already written above) - Lucci and Shiryu. Both are bloodthirsty sadists, Lucci also worked as a hired government assassin, and Shiryu had almost unlimited power in Impel Down.
Kaido, in my opinion, is not a sadist; judging by his dialogues, he simply destroys everything that stands in the way of his goals (yeah someone will die probably, but its not Kaido's "problem" or goal to kill as many). His personality doesnt get along with "the character who killed the most".

Cause we needed a feckin VC to state whether he actually died. Otherwise we would have been treating Guernica like Pound and assuming he survived cause we didn't actually see him die.

Wasn't it because someone incorrectly said Guernica was the one who took the photo of G5, which only appeared after Guernica died, that people started assuming that Guernica should be alive?

Guernica is as on-screen as Pound was. Lol. Unless I see the attack physically connect with him and result in an on-screen corpse, that sassenach was off screen.
