Did not miss a beat with this design….Figarland Shamrock, ☘️ this is hype. If he’s the same age as Shanks he should be stronger than his Father Garling. But man what a design, might be Top 5 Post Timeskip Design ngl

"is it faith that keeps him standing"

This to me indicates an eventual Loki heel turn. Gunko saying that implies there is something that keeps Loki being "good" for now.

Something's gonna happen and make him lose it.

No current Yonko commander is as strong or stronger than Shanks. EOS Zoro is the commander of not just the future PK (mirroring Rayleigh but stronger) but essentially the top commander of pirate Jesus Nika who surpasses even Joy boy. Meanwhile Aokiji joined in his prime.
I'm talking about Mihawk.
In-universe he's considered as a yonko underling as Brandnew stated that Buggy had the power "to command these other two men", referring to Mihawk and Croc.
I know his case is special as he's pretty much allowing Buggy to be the figurehead, but it's not like Teach forced Aokiji to submit through a show of strenght either.

He willingly joined Blackbeard as a commander and does commander stuff. He even told Garp that he can't have him go on rampage in Blackbeard's absence. Like he legitimately cares.
He joined them because they’re a means to an end. Being a BB Pirate means he’s free not that he’s just some commander. He doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t want to do anymore.

Also you’re confusing Pizarros quote with Kuzan.

Is there one case of someone willingly joining the cause of another pirate that is weaker? In piracy, hierarchies are based on power. A captain won't have a subordinate more powerful than himself. Why would the subordinate even join in the first place, and how would someone like Blackbeard accept someone as strong or stronger than himself into his rank, especially since Blackbeard acknowledges that in piracy betrayal is common.

So you believe Crocodile > Mihawk then since Mihawk willingly joined Crocodile and is actively fighting to make Crocodiles dream of Utopia a reality?
