Oden was trapped in wano , So was Yamato.
Oden had Advanced Conqueror / Conqueror , So did Yamato.

I know Yamato "Wanna be oden" was forced down people throat but , you cannot change the fact Yamato was Parallel as Luffy's Oden.

They will just be able to say he can through his own means cause that is "Oda's intention". As long as he doesn't actually fail directly (like in this case he didn't even meet Kaidou so he'd be in the clear for them to say whatever they want).
