Really don't get why people still pretend Oda never worked with destiny.
Will of D being a thing from the early arcs with older people mentioning it meeting Luffy, Rayleigh saying "there are no coincidences in the world" or White Beard claiming someone is surely destined to find One Piece, carry the weight of history and cause the final war against the WG.
Well, guess those were not enough to make it obvious destiny was never rejected in OP.
Time travel was not a big deal as it was restricted to only going forward, but this one sure gave me a really bad feeling at first.
The other 2 points are all about baseless speculations and expectations between haters and fanboys, so not the manga's fault.

They were/are buddies, and would go out dining together weekly. I do honestly believe that they knew how the other manga was supposed to end, and that certain aspects of these private spoilers did inspire one another. Case in point, I believe that Oda's reveal of Imu to Kishimoto is what made Kishi come up with Kaguya. I'm not saying they stole from another, but that they allowed themselves to introduce the same concepts in their respective works, knowing that they'd be executing them differently.

Kishimoto literal axed all his characters part 2 in the service of Naruto and Sasuke, be it old ones like the konaha genins or even the new ones like akatsuki where he used the kakuzu hidan finale to ruin it for a naruto glaze training chapter that made no sense (i wrote this someone where else before maybe i can find it). Like the focus that even a character like robin gets gaps most naruto side characters

Complaints like these aren’t genuine considering all the bitching people did during the final war when kishi was giving a lot of the konoha 9 love before he brought the heavy hitters in.

Oh no im not disagreeing what the complains from the mainstream was, i also was reading weekly back than (shout out to sawyer7mage crashout out about tobi)

But PT2 Naruto’s was cast heavy. We got the sasori arc which includes team guy playing a big role, team Asuma vs the immortal duo and Sasuke being the MC for entire arcs

At the end of the day these stories are about special people doing special things. Even Goku could only be as strong as he is because of his Saiyan lineage. Yuji can only be strong because he ate Sukuna's finger. Gon is the son of the greatest hunter. The list goes on.
At least Zoro shows what a peak human can become in the One Piece world but even then CoC is a genetic trait. And his swords are from very special people.

It is true that one of the issue in the One Piece fandom is this reluctance to accept that One Piece is a classic shonen. Which means that it follows the trope and the rules of the shonen.
Some fans absolutely wants it to ni some « one of a kind story » which is why some fans are so insufferable with other fanbases.
What we can hope is that the recent development give them some humiliand allow them to appreciate other stories.
