General & Others “Right behind Rayleigh” Behind, BEHIND. The Okama fandom takes another L for premature glaze over meaningless words.

Viz ain't saints dude, they have done things like this recently related to a conversation between Shamrock and Loki

This is sandman's translation and interpretation

I believe myself that the logic behind VIZ translating "Alongside/Along with" to "After" lies on the fact that Rayleigh was the already known subject in the conversation, while Gaban was being introduced in the moment of their speech, so "after" Rayleigh, we get Gaban. Anyways, "alongside/along with" makes way more sense, since it matches perfectly with the "Right Arm" and "Left Arm" concept (and i believe that was the whole point Oda wanted to make here), since it doesn't establishes an hierarchy, but says that they were "especially strong aside from Roger himself" and were "legendary figures shoulder to shoulder with Roger"

By the way, thats how Japanese readers are interpreting the whole thing, interesting
Tell them to apply for a job at Viz then I’ll care
Replying to post addressing "Monkey D Luffy", in a thread created by DonWick.

It's the Zoro fans!!
Well to be fair I am still a Zoro fan. It’s way more accurate to call me a Zoro fan than a Sanji hater.

@DonWick I expected you to address this much quicker, your standards have fallen.

DonWick is big Luffy fan, disguises himself as Zoro fan but shits on Zoro most of the time and absolutely despises and shits on Sanji all the time.
I only shit on Zoro when he’s compared to Luffy. There’s no problem when I shit on Sanji when he’s compared to Zoro though hmmmm :lusalty:

The phrase "on par" means "equal in status, quality, or level" Someone needs to get this man a dictionary.
On par is more nuanced while being equal isn’t. I know the English language very well. Two things can be on par and not equal.

Well, that was all I wanted from you, to accept that you shit on Zoro.
