Like at first Sora truly did love Judge, but after he became obsessed with power Sora only stayed because of her daughter Reiju and feared what would happen to her if she left.
Right, I thought you were adding to my theory and got confused as Rei wouldn't have been born prior to the marriage.
Whatever her story is or was - maybe Oda will reveal it in a SBS - I don't think Judge was the type to marry for love or lust. imo, there had to have been something Sora brought to the table as Queen Consort, and given his ties to the WG, I would have assumed it had something to do with scientific contributions. I doubt the WG gives a shit if the North Blue is consolidated under a new Germa Empire, so long as that empire pays its due in Heavenly Tribute.
Lmao that won’t ever happen I think
The man a huge family and territory to protect now
That territory won't be his much longer, if it hasn't already shrunk considerably. I honestly don't think Katakuri even wants all that territory and would be happier keeping his family on WCI.
Regardless, a new world will be born by the end of One Piece. The status quo will be wiped out.
Whether WCI becomes Sanji's island restaurant, or Linlin's children leave it of their own accord, I couldn't tell you, but if Sanji and Pudding do get married, I'm more confident in them all being together as one big, weird family than them holding on to Big Mom's empire. Family is all that has ever mattered to Katakuri, and I think that's all Sanji wants out of life. I could even see Katakuri commenting he's glad he didn't succeed in blowing his brains out.
Maybe both will happen, as others have suggested, where WCI remains intact and in good relations with Sanji's restaurant barge/country.
I'm opposed to all forms of monarchy, but for a story, it'd be nice to see Sanji actually become a king, who spends most of his days in a kitchen getting beat up his wife and daughters for leering at patrons and such.
The ultimate joke being all his kids think Zoro is the coolest mfer in the world, while Zoro's son just repeats whatever insults his old man says.
