Nik before ending Mihawk haters careers decade plus agenda going straight into the trash:13_Punches:
:milaugh::milaugh::milaugh: They really thought strongest character in the show was admitting inferiority to sick old dude...

Cause Sengoku isn't Mihawk and they are talking about two different things. Lol.
They are both talking about distance, lmao.. Literally. :milaugh:

Yes, he never said he was inferior. Nor did he want to measure the physical distance. The point was just, that Whitebeard was reputed to be the world's strongest, the man able to destroy the world, and Mihawk was the first to sense the decline, basically saying "he isn't as far away from us (not him individually, but them collectively) as believed".

Jozu blocking Mihawk's slash was then similar to Marco blocking Kizaru's attack, as to say, that you cannot reach "the King" as easily without passing through his commanders.

No, you still delude yourself thinking this is about power scaling.
It was never about that.
Kizaru literally attempted the same thing Mihawk did. How can you still fail at this when I explained it into details? :milaugh:

He refers to what Sengoku said - WB appeared so close.
He was not testing Whitebeard's strength but checking if he is close enough to be taken out.
In case it is unclear, Kizaru attempts the same and he didnt say a thing that agenda pushers are making up from Mihawk's line.
Both attempted to take Whitebeard out, that's all there is, it was never about measuring power.
With that I can agree with but it's not what I took from the original post. Maybe it's just me.

Mihawk was testing the difference between the physical distance (say, 5 KM), which was well within Mihawk or any other top tier's range, and the real distance, all the people they actually have to go through first before engaging with Whitebeard (say, Marco and Jozu), making Whitebeard be actually out of range.

Marco told us this literally after Mihawk's quote. Two pages of almost no text after it. Context ties both things together.

He still did admit inferiority though, that is his belief. Doesn’t matter if it’s accurate since WB was on decline or not.

“Between us and that man”
Mihawk grouped himself with the rest of the world and WB as the sole man sitting on top.

So kizaru did the LITERAL same according to you but Marco came out instead of diamond chair Jozu???
:shocked::shocked:

How strong is wizaru? :KizOut:
Seems like way more than a near sighted hawk

Issue is that the wording makes it sound like Mihawk see a healthy WB as an existence above "them", and it's only after he started to decline that the distance became more nebulous. It isn't really Mihawk downplay but for some it is which I guess is why this thread is trying to disprove that this statement had anything to do with powerscaling.

I guess it is Mihawk downplay for sassenachs that think Mihawk is the WSM instead of Whitebeard. :milaugh:

Exactly! You get it.
It wasnt about testing literal distance, he is perfectly able to tell the distance as all others are.
Despite being close, the true distance is far longer or as you say, out of range because king cannot be taken out due to others.

So Mihawk can't use his Hawk Eyes properly and is forced to use his sword as a glorified ruler? Come on man. :Raku_Stare:
Read Moegara's post, he gets it...

It is a matter of reading comprehension, kekaro-chin.
Sit this one out and watch how daddy Nik dismantles agendas. :myman:
No offense but anyone thinking Mihawk was talking about actual distance lacks some brain cells.

Also same Kanjis were used when Zoro mentioned gulf between him and Mihawk and ofcourse he meant gulf in power not in physical distance.
Kizaru measure the same gulf in power? :milaugh:
