Fan and powerscaling wanker are confusing for some characters. Some people are genuine fans of the character with little regard to the characters power level. While others try to push their fav as high up the power list as possible.
The weirdest thing so far in the thread is that WB and Roger don't have any real fans yet they are power scaled to the top. I wish Oda would have expanded on the Roger and Ray first meeting where Roger said lets turn the world upside down, to me it felt that there was more to Roger than just being a pirate but instead he got turned into Luffy. Marco has quite some fans though the only one I have seen defend Marco against slander is @grey matter. @Fujishiro is a Fujitora fan?

Roger used to be cool back in the days, before Gold Roger became Gold Luffy. Loda couldn't help himself, had to force parallels by throwing out the subtlety

I like Marco, but I am more of a Whitebeard pirates fan in general, due to the events in Marineford arc.

Roger is fine imo, he's slightly less cool than he was before but I still like him a lot.
What's great about him is that he's one of the characters that's basically the epitome of a pirate (along with Blackbeard and Kidd), though he does more good than a typical pirate would, but still.
