If an emperor is shown to have been finished , he’s not coming back. Whitebeards death was shown and he died, Kaido and meme caved way for the future with their deaths

Roger started the whole manga and the quest to Pirate King was/is the main bread for 80/90% of the story

Initially the story was about the quest for Pirate King. But not anymore now, it is bigger than that. Roger is not the pinnacle anymore, now we have Joyboy vs Imu. Roger is just big dog in previous generation that didn't do shit against Imu.
But of course as Sanji fans you guys @Jesse Pinkman really like to bring the good old days, because just like Roger, Sanji is not big dog anymore nowadays.

It's subjective. Roger was able to make it in the history books, be talked much by everyone, but Xebec was erased and kept a secret from the readers for decades. However, if Xebec truly inspired Blackbeard, Loki and Kaido, his influence cant be downplayed

we as readers have had Roger from day 1

We are knowing from day 1 that Luffy wants to become PK

That Roger gave his straw hat to shanks and shanks gave it to Luffy as his most precious treasure

Roger speech in loguetown started the golden era of piracy

etc etc

Xebec is important but far less than Roger for us readers and as a driving force in OP

the story is called One piece, the treasure in Laugh tale, the place only Roger managed to reach and becoming the pirate king

This is the third time since Dressrosa Zoro had someone propel him to reach his target. His attack speed and reaction speed are alright but his ability to cover long distances and air sucks

Yeah, but according to Oda himself, Xebec was trying to break the "greatest taboo in the world", whatever this mean, this is probably the most important thing in the series, or one of the most important.

But he was defeated, if he wasnt he would be considered the greatest. Its simple
