So are the god knights not a secret really? The giants kind of seem to know about them....
Which only makes sense, the idea that you can go around wiping out country after country secretly doesn't really make sense,especially after all the former rocks pirate and Roger himself witnessed it. I don't think the WG has any secret members aside from Imu

The guy in blindfold is Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen.
As for why its matter,
apparently there's an ongoing trope of characters having their thumbs up leading to their downfall.
Perfect example of this is Vegeta from Dragon Ball. He thumbs up one time and later on, he gets his ass wiped badly by his opponent.
Since you most likely didn't read JJK so I wouldn't spoil you, but let's just say that Gojo has his thumbs up and it didn't end well for him lol.
Zoro is having a thumbs up here which is a red flag.

Xebec should have been Kaido's father figure, with their relation being a darker mirror of Roger and Shanks' relationship, with a mix of physical abuse and genuine but twisted love/care and Kaido adopting Xebec's ideals and beating the shit and spirit out of his subordinates outside of the Calamities and other people truly loyal to him to ensure they wouldn't betray him like the other Rocks Pirates betrayed Xebec.
But I don't think he had a childhood like Luffy where he had someone to look up to. He was forced to be a child soldier for many years, probably not able to dream of piracy.
Imo Kaido and Luffy could be interpreted like Doffy said, kids who know war and kids who know peace have very different values. Luffy grew up in a mostly peaceful east blue country(there's exceptions, but he was usually protected) while Kaido was forced to fight wars and was very exposed to things like extreme poverty, so that's probably why he doesn't care much about people starving in Wano, while Luffy does. Luffy wanting to create a world where everyone in Wano can eat again was made a big deal, Luffy didnt really care much about him killing Lolden or anything

Some JP YouTubers are already talking about Elbaf potentially being the start of the final war & I’m kinda leaning towards that as well with the way Oda is setting things up.
A few chapters ago Gunko, spoke about using the painter to travel to Marijoea so a YouTuber I watch speculated on the potential of the SHs using the painter to do the exact same ting. He also spoke on the Elbaf’s reference to Norse mythology & ragnarok in particular potentially translating to the final war.
Some potential set-up so far imo:
- Even though kiringham’s DF is OP & has pretty nice synergy with Sommers, they just don’t feel like a sufficient enough threat for the military might currently on Elbaf (Scopper, Yonko Luffy’s crew, Loki, Dorry & Broggy etc.) and any one that says otherwise is just refusing to think logically for whatever reason💀. Which is why I think Oda’s keeping most of the big guns away to level the playing field a bit. M3s inability to sense the God’s knights is also a convenient plot tool.
- Scopper keeps banging on about the potential of Elbaf’s ruin & even specifically brought up the end times this chapter which is very interesting wording given Ragnarok is quite literally the end times.
- Loki is clearly being built up as powerful ally & Oda seems to hiding his abilities for some reason. Prolly wants to reveal it when the main antagonists come into play. Moreover Oda for some reason has gone out of his way to state that it’d take Loki a full month to heal. Also found it particularly interesting that there was no emphasis on Sanji’s attack cuisine this chapter as Oda could’ve easily used that as a way to speed up Loki’s recovery. In the first place a whole month for recovery is pretty weird in OP.
- Also we still don’t know shit about the heavenly world on Elbaf. So maybe that’s where the final battle takes place. Also I spoke about the possibility of the SHs using the painter to travel up marijoea but could also be that the heavenly layer is somehow connected to marijoea given the naming & the structure of Elbaf. Heavenly World/Marijoa -> Sun World/Grandline -> Underworld/Impel Down.
So yh I think there’s still much more to come from Elbaf ^^

Honestly, it looks like Luffy really looks up to Loki and not just in a literal sense ofc lol. His facial expressions, words and behaviour made me think he knows Loki is fronting and is a good guy deep down, he's experienced it with many of his own crew and allies ofc.
Luffy has always been very emotionally intelligence subconsciously and thus able to instinctively read people like Robin reads ponegylphs.
The way he was behaving here really screamed to me that he sees Loki as a big brother, like with Ace and Sabo but also Zoro and Sanji.
He also tends to garner respect if not allegiance and thus camaraderie from people who are rough on the outside yet warm, kind, caring deep down, even if it's buried deeper than the original Wano.
I think it's really sweet anyway. Luffy blatantly really likes and seems to care about and respect Loki. Somehow it reminds me of him and Ace too.

Hell yeah man, I actually like him the most out of the Roger crew and he's quickly become one of my favourite characters post TS and in One Piece entirely.
I fucking love these sort of characters too haha. He gives me major Jiraiya energy but without the perversion so far, which I love.
Him being a dual Axe fighter is the cherry and icing on the whole cake too.
