It is not Tatsumaki, it was similar. It was a tornado that he fired like a projectile, like pound cannon + tatsumaki fusion. It probably is anime filler, if it even exists. I'll rewatch Fishman Island and try and find it

It was filler, and Zoro used 108 pound hou. Pound hou are one of Zoro's underused techniques. We have never seen Zoro all out used his 1080 pound hou, the one he used against Pica was without hardening his swords and he cut the upper half of the golem. We could see a part of the right side of the golem missing in the next chapter.
The pound hou is not a regular flying slash. It is a rotating flying slash that could make a hole on a target depends on how many spins Zoro gives it. Zoro with 360 pound hou make a hole in the head of the fish in fishman island arc. His 360 pound hou against King was shaped like a mini ikoku sovereignty.
Dont know how the new pound hou would be but Zoro doesnt use much for ranged attack.

I knew I wasn't forgetting. Toei did animate it as what appears to be a never before seen technique @Lor D. Coast@Rivaille that gif is what I was thinking of. They legit made it look like Tatsumaki bruh

To be fair, Zoro rarely used this technique. The last time he did at that time was against Oars and it evolved with Shusui but Zoro wasnt used to the sword. So, we didnt actually see a proper 108 pound hou with Shusui.
Toei animated it almost like the game Pirate Warriors did. Since it is a rotating flying slash going forward, it might look like a horizontal Tatsumaki for a moment.

You don't see any "Usopp vs Mihawk's iceberg slash" threads but we immediately got "Zoro vs Shanks' kamusari" discussions after that chapter dropped, even tho a lot of those people swear up and down that Zoro would get one-shotted by it. Then why bring up such a redundant topic if you're so sure of it?
The one Zoro used against the golem was 1080 pound hou. I was talking precicely about 108 pound just like the filler made him used at Fishman Island. It was before the Dressrosa.
I did mention that it did evolve and at that time Zoro wasnt used to Shusui so we didnt actually see a proper 108 pound hou to make a comparison with the filler.
