Why are demon forms/demonic abilities the pinnacle of at least 4 Strawhats?
It seems like Imu is onto something...
Especially considering that the one aiming for #1 spot in the universe happens to be a Demon God.

you might be late onto this but the protagonists have always been connected to devils, the D clan are the opposite of the Celestial Dragons, the gods. That makes them demons/devils per foil. That is why most strawhats found their connections to this, because the strawhats and the D's symbolize the true devils per foil.

I think back then me and the boys already had these conversations about how Luffy represents the devil and how Zoro is a tagalong in all of this and how Robin is a part of it.

Just know this is not exclusive to Zoro. The normal World Government affiliated humans think of the D's as devils/demons, a foil to the gods.

Speaking of God's natural enemy, Oda had Zoro try to cut down a Celestial Dragon before Luffy punched one. Zoro has also taken issue with "God" in three different arcs: Skypiea, Thriller Bark, and Wano. Oda is pretty consistent with it.

Everything Vegapunk said for Sun God apply to Demon God.
Literally, word for word, it works perfectly.
Demon God is the manifestation of desire/evolution of humanity aka what all Devil Fruits were once they first manifested.
Demon God has nothing to do with Haki but just like Haki, it is commanded by willpower.
Imu's powers are Imu's powers, amped up Sugar's abilities, just mythical Zoan instead of Paramecia.

Yeah, I know, ZKK this and that but apart of that, Zoro got more screentime in this arc since he was heavily involved with Yasuie, the samurais (well if you exclude Luffy) and he got his own shining moments when he proved himself to be a powerful swordsman - scarring Kaido and ultimately cutting the "fire dragon" with the same technique which Zoro learned from Kinemon.

That was the part which Oda thought "Alright, that's enough for now" - unfortunately, this didn't even include Zoro's lineage since Zoro's lineage was revealed in a mere SBS (or databook?) - but the fandom learned it in the hard way when they flew far to close to the sun like Icarus - being obsessed about the idea that Zoro kills the first Yonko who is fighting the protagonist of this manga. You'd think they'd learn from this but no, Zoro vs Kizaru and now this lol.

There were sublte hints for ZKK and we even got rooftop for that to materialize, and then, suddenly whole party came crashing down - Zoro got king and Luffy took all the credits to take kaido down.


I do understand from where zoro fans (myself included) and sanji fans are coming from.
