All I'm saying is if I was a betting man, I'd be going all in on Mihawk stocks rn. They couldn't be higher. Mihawk > Xebec is ridiculous atp, nothing suggests any of the current top-tiers have reached the likes of Rogerbeard/Xebec.

Mihawk > Shanks is obvious. Shanks was even with Mihawk back when he had immortality; he lost an arm and now Mihawk calls him a has-been. Seems to me like Mihawk was on par with Shanks' full potential and Shanks losing an arm is why Mihawk won't even bother fighting him anymore.

I mean what's the alternative? We know for a fact that Mihawk and two-arm Shanks were not only equals but legends even to someone like Whitebeard, garnering so much respect that he refers to Mihawk by name whilst referring to guys like Akainu as magma brat. Shanks implied that Mihawk is his greatest opponent ever, as when talking about scars he made sure to highlight that this was not a scar he got from Mihawk. Shanks is genuinely most famous for his battles with Mihawk. You wanna talk about narrative? How about Whitebeard name-dropping Mihawk in a conversation about the days of legends?

So people really think that Mihawk went from being equal to two-armed Shanks, his greatest rival who he challenged often, to being inferior to one-armed Shanks; yet Mihawk considers fighting current Shanks a waste of time as he's a one-armed has-been... like please make it make sense. Mihawk doesn't bother fighting Shanks anymore because it'd be disappointing, he knows he'll never get to fight Shanks at his full strength again. His greatest rival is nerfed forever and he tested Luffy to determine why Shanks would do such a thing.

Mihawk = Two-armed Shanks > one-armed Shanks.

The only other explanation would be that Mihawk is genuinely scared to lose to Shanks now which is obviously untrue.
