Put it into your perspective. You are allotted vacation time per year. You are OWED this vacation time. Holidays roll around, so does an unexpected viral pandemic. Your company takes off for both of these events. Are you still not allowed your OWED vacation time? Oda is merited a break every 3-4 chapters because he works on One Piece like 90 hours a week, for the past 23 years. They don't want him to get sick or worse, have the manga be cancelled due to his health.

Appreciate these breaks because now you have 988 chapters of content with the promise of a ton more in the future.

At least against Doflamingo it's not a shame. Sanji didn't have RS and Doflamingo is Dressrosa main antagonist.

Enel, main antagonist of Skypieia also humiliated Zoro, Robin, Wiper, etc.

Against King, Sanji has RS and Oda hasn't shown fullpower of RS so he can makes this fight goes the way he wants.
