I suppose my one point of contention with the genocide accusation is that if you look at the statistics, it genuinely does not look like Israel is trying to eradicate Gazans.

Even if you say the death tolls are underestimates, it is nowhere near as high as the Holocaust. And the holocaust was basically what created the concept of genocide.
That said, it is undeniable that Israel has shown a disregard for civilian life. But I think that is different from a genocide.

Wish I could find it, but I saw a video of an Orthodox rabbi talking about how the pictures you see of Palestinians in Gaza look eerily similar to Jews who survived the Holocaust and how he feels sick about others using him and his faith to justify these atrocities…I understand the spirit of what you’re saying, but come on, this is undeniably genocide no matter who tries to downplay it.
