Allow me a little metaphor: If a woman gets beaten for years by her husband, I would understand her hatred against him, but if you told me that he is hating her 'cause he thinks she is inferior, I would not understand that, in fact I would say that the guy is a problem. That's why context matter and why it's always a vital importance to look at the domination relationships to understand a situation.
Cool reasoning for why only whites are racist

Cool reasoning for why only whites are racist
Because that's what it is. But don't worry, racialized people can't still perpetuate a racist system, racialized people in the police, for ex, are perpetuating an oppressive racist system. I know I won't convince you, because for that, I would need to give you sociological lectures, that I don't have the pedagogy or the necessary background to give, and you wouldn't listen any way. So let's leave it as that.

Nice word salad you can't even deny you just have a bias against whites

Nice word salad you can't even deny you just have a bias against whites
It's not a bias, it's simply a reaction in front of a system of oppression, exploitation, and domination. I'm white, I have white relatives, I watch white content creators, don't worry, it's not about bias, it's about knowledge and ethics. Just try to understand my point of view, you might get some surprises.

Self hating white (a common phenomenon that characterizes most white leftist)

Plagued by guilt and thinking you are more evil than other races and only your race is guilty and capable of interracial injustice
:jordanmf:
Guilt? I have no guilt because of my color of skin lmao, what are you saying? Learn to understand how a leftist think, not how your far right media told you how a leftist think. I'm willing to explain if you are willing to listen. You see, I was at your place once, so I understand everything about your values, but you understand nothing about mine. Be mindfull, be smart, listen.

Indeed. It's not about the color of the skin, it's a social status of domination. Sociologists call it "whiteness"
Its a social domination, so when you just called yourself and your family white a minute ago, you were really calling yourself a social status...but you called it a "skin tone"

so which is it
:vistalaugh:
Shapeshifting leftist playing with words. Whiteness is just a skin tone when referring to him but a dagger when calling whites racist and the only group capable of and guilty of racism!

Its a social domination, so when you just called yourself and your family white a minute ago, you guys were really calling yourself a social status...but you called it a "skin tone"
Incoming Illogiko cope spiral trying to explain how race isn't real but whites are still racist
Races are indeed, not real. But racialization and whiteness are. So when we are talking about racialized people or white people, we talk about a social status, not the color of the skin. It's a bit tricky and it takes a bit of time to understand, but once you get it, it's easy. I'm glad you are starting to look deeper! I won't have to sugar coat the knowledge with you.

Oh! I didn't know this one. Good to know.

Who is "we"? Everyone considers whiteness a racial people, don't just assume everyone lives in the same schizophrenic delusion as you do
:milaugh:

Tell me, what defines this "social status" and why all who seem to fall under the white "race", also happen to fall under this...um..."social status"

Materialist leftists.

Everyone considers whiteness a racial people
I believe you do not understand what "whiteness" means. It's not what you think trust me and it's a bit complex to explain only in three lines.

Very simply: Whiteness is a social dominant position theorized around 1935. A tool of power & domination. Invisible politically but present in the institutions. It's a form of psychological salary, giving a dominant social status to even the poorest white working class workers over racialized ones, with implicit social and space access and pushing them to identify to elites instead of "racialized" workers.

Big yikes…even if he’s getting out in front of it, that’s clearly Nazi iconography, not really any mistaking it for something more benign. I’m sure the righties will look the other way like they usually do when it comes to overt bigotry in politics instead of some performative pearl-clutching about respectability or whatever they say to justify why something is only morally wrong when liberals do it :lawsigh:

"Whiteness was invented in the 30s"

No the term "white" in the way we use it today did not start in the 1930s.

It's usage comes long before the 1930s and largely rose out of American 17th century colonial statues, and throughout the 18th century American state/federal law outlining things like who could vote, become a citizen, who can marry who, etc.

Pennsylvania (1725–26) — provincial “Negro law” repeatedly contrasts with “white person/white woman/white man”:

“no minister… shall… join in marriage any negro with any white person… if any white man or woman shall cohabit… with any negro…” (and other sections)

Yeah, it's hard to believe that he didn't check. But looking at the way he is coming about it with transparency, I'm willing to give the guy a naivity pass, even if he is still an army boy which doesn't ring a lot of respect for me anyway.

Mate. If you could just read with interest two seconds, you would have understood that I'm not talking about "white" or "white people", but "whiteness". Whiteness is a sociological concept. I'm talking about a social status that you probably never heard about until now. Reread what I just explained please.

That is bullshit, your definition of "white people" is just privelaged people or something. Lol
