Speculations King is not the strongest swordsman of wano and zoro doesn't need to fight him

in regards to zoro vs king, I think its possible, I think it could happen, and I wouldn't be upset if it did happen.

However, I do not like it when fans take zoro vs king as a given, because it clearly isn't. Yes, Zoro almost always fights the 2nd strongest character of every arc, but in wano, that character is not king, rather it is big mom.

Zoro, being one of the top 5 strongest people in the alliance at the moment, would actually be more fit to fight big mom, alongside Kid and Law, than to take on king.

Im not saying zoro vs big mom is guaranteed either, because its not. But I think its just as viable as zoro vs king. Because the only real argument for zoro vs king is that king is the 2nd strongest and the strongest swordsman of wano, and this literally isn't true.

The 2nd strongest person on the villains's side is big mom, who is also the strongest swordsmen on the villains' side. I know people are going to argue "she's not a real swordsman", but ikoku was able to blow a hole through the entire skull, which is better than anything king showed. Big mom has non sword attacks, but so does king. Just because king wields a katana, doesn't mean he's a god tier swordsman.

Pica had a sword though.... and Diamante had to be taken out by none other than Kyros, there was too much sentimental importance to this fight to occur.

What does this have to do with big mom?

Linlin does know how to use a sword as she has named sword attacks and has learned an established style of swordsmanship(she uses the same style the giants of elbaf use).

How's it obvious? As of now, Sanji is fighting king, whereas zoro is one of the only characters who can even damage big mom.

And by arc conventions, Zoro should fight big mom over king as big mom is the 2nd strongest villain. The only reason Zoro wouldn't fight big mom is if she gets memed out of the arc, which would be shit writing.

It's true Big Mom is stronger than King and she has a very powerful sword attack. But that doesn't mean she is a stronger swordman than King or that she can give Zoro a better swordsmanship fight than King. We saw Big Mom use that same or similar attacks against the straw hats and failed to hit them. Her sword attack was blocked by Jinbe.

I believe Zoro vs King will be his Katakuri battle. I think King is a stronger more powerful Zoro with additional power and ability.
