1 Gorosei vs 9 Holy Knights who wins
I mean it should be the holy knights right?
Garling being promoted to Gorosei just because Saturn was dead shows that it’s not really a “strength” thing that gets you ranked up, it’s a seniority thing.
Garling wasn’t even the strongest holy knights, he was just the commander.
I don’t think the Yokai buff that Garling is getting can make such a huge power gap. And even if he also gets a Haki boost from the rank up, the haki boost is a multiplier, so once again it depends on what Garling’s base haki is to begin with and then it gets multiplied.
So if like Shamrock has a bigger base Haki, even if shamrock has a lower multiplier than Gorosei Garling, Shamrock having that bigger base haki could mean that Garling’s bigger Multiplier still doesn’t put him above Shamrock with his God’s knight multiplier.
Some quick math. If Shamrock has
5 base haki and Garling has
3 base haki. If the God’s knight haki multiplier is
x2 and the Gorosei haki multiplier is
x3… then it’s entirely possible that Shamrock’s final Haki power is
5x2 and Garling’s is
3x3 leaving Shamrock technically stronger than Gorosei Garling
This is not counting however strong the Yokai transformation Garling gets is. And also not counting however strong Shamrock’s Cerebrus sword is
