I don't think so. The way it is translated, it is presented as a possibility, not a certainty. Framed as a question. Will they go there? Similar to clickbait titles of our favourite youtubers. "IS SHANKS EVIL?!"
Yesterday I still thought the next arc would take place on New Marineford, and I still think that. Oda also said that the Elbaf Arc will end with a big bang. I think Imu will return to Maryjoa, Shanks will arrive in Elbaf, Blackbeard will also come there and the executions of Law and Barto will be announced.

I think we’ll cut around the world to see what other factions are doing and how they’re preparing for the race for the OP/already fighting other factions

Wouldn’t surprise me if the heavily theorized Impel Down Cross Guild raid happens soon after Elbaf

But Lodestar will be next for the Strawhats as a destination imo

I am hoping it will be laughtale. I have heard this somewhere maybe someone from here that laughtale maybe where ancient kingdom is located. Would be hype if that is the case.

The flashback isn’t even over yet and this arc isn’t like Egghead, the SHs aren’t escaping, they need to actually save Elbaf.

If nothing else, this necessitates:

• Defeating the domi reversi giants
• Destroying the Abyss in Aurest castle, thereby possibly sending the HKs back to mariejois

Among this there’s a very high chance Loki gets DR’d and fights Luffy

To face the marines/wg we need more setup.

We need poseidon on our side, mono on our side(not sure how he fits yet) we also need the one piece.

Only after that we would take on the world.
Not to mention we need a flashback of the void century before facing IMU?

Or are you implying we start facing the marines now to escape to laugh tale before coming back? What would be the purpose of that?

Elbaf ends in the latter half of 2026 imo

But we won’t get to Lodestar till 2027 ish anyway because typically at the end of these arcs we “catch up” with the rest of the world

With the time dilation there will be a lot to catch up on

Is there a real reason to go to lodestar? I guess they can’t avoid their log pose eventually going there, but they already know about the road poneglyphs. I suppose there could be a massive brawl there, as those who covet the one piece would try to steal the poneglyph copies that would inevitably reach the end of the grand line…

But right now we have vivis message hanging over us so they might have to take a detour
