Emma did not misbehave once against kaido. It was satisfied. So the level of haki zoro was giving it was the same as the king fight.

Kaido literally says zoro used acoc in asura. Zoro didn't even know he had coc let alone acoc lol. The only way he uses acoc on asura is by giving emma everything he has. Which is literally what he says after he scars kaido. He says he used everything he had in that attack.

And also every attack kaido and meme talked about "emma's special haki" or "lolden's haki on that sword" was zoro going all out on emma.

Happened in the kaido fight too btw, when he put too little haki in Onigiri and then moments later enma sucked in massive amounts of haki during Dragon Blaze which made him miss the attack.
