1. I like how the "early" one-piece chapters implied Logia DFs being overpowered but instead its Zoan DFs now. Reason its heavily implied Imu has a Zoan type is because of the cloud's transformation which is awakened DF, his devil appearance and drums being played in the background to his intro similar to Luffy whom also is a Zoan user. I have no idea if this is a segway for Oda to make Blackbeard have the strongest Logia, Paramecia and Zoan DF(assuming he steals it from Imu) user. It is still a mystery as to how Blackbeard can wield 2 DFs or maybe possibly 3.
2. Imu is Lawful Evil, Blackbeard is chaotic evil
3. Imu seems to have some kind of love affair with Vivi's ancestor in the void century based on vivi look alike portrait this last chapter and apparently Vivi now. I have no idea if this is a weakness on Imu's part that can be exploited into someone threatening to kill Vivi like blackbeard for him to lower his guard.
4. Coughing up blood might be another weakness that can be exploited if he does another transformation.
5. Shirahoshi was viewed as a threat to Imu and apparently Caribou is going to lead blackbeard into getting 2 ancient weapons where a single one is claimed to destroy the world.
6. Shanks was Yonko level I believe when blackbeard fucked up his eye, I am assuming that was when Blackbeard didn't have 1 or 2 of the DFs when that happened so there might be some kind of additional hidden power blackbeard might have?
7. With Admirals gone, Imu gone and Devon touching one of the Gorosei I expect something to happen at MG while he's gone, maybe blackbeard raiding it or at least infiltrating the castle. Will probably end up stealing that national treasure that Doflamingo mentioned which could be the 3rd ancient weapon. I think Devon not only copies DFs but also the memories of the DF users and who other than the Gorosei might know where that hidden treasure is but hard to confirm that since devon might have tricked Moria with just Absalom's appearance but that is hard to tell because Devon also displayed Absalom's personality to Moria to make it extra convincing which can only be done if you know something about someone in order to display their personality.
I feel like Oda is setting up Imu to be the fall guy for Blackbeard then being the actual final villain.

Although there's something unusual about the naming of Imu's ability/fruit
Usually devil fruits name are written in repeating pattern followed by "no mi" (の実)
For example Luffy's fruit used to be called "Gomu Gomu no mi (ゴムゴムの実 )"
Robin is "Hana Hana no mi"
For zoan you have the animal's group in repeating pattern followed by "no mi" and then the exact model.
Chopper is "Hito Hito No Mi : model (モデル) human (Luffy is Hito Hito no Mi : model Nika)
Imu is simply "Akuma no Mi" (アクマの実) with no repeat before the の実. If it was a zoan for example it should've been either "Akuma Akuma no Mi Model X " or "Model : Akuma"
I don't think Oda ever made an exception in the naming pattern before this chapter (I quickly checked on wikia as I can't be hassed to remember the naming of every fruit in japanese)

This makes me think of the theory that the "OG" devil fruit tree is in MJ in imus garden or somehere.

What I think is his devil fruit ability is not the same as the other devil fruits. People who eats a devil fruit will become weak against the sea, but his devil fruit makes his weak against the lower realm. This makes me think his ability has bigger side effect which could be the very first version of the fruit. Imu sounds like Japanese pronunciation of Eve, so as if Eve ate the forbidden fruit at the garden of Eden. By looking what Oda has shown us, Imu always staying at his garden, so it seems like that way. Not sure was it created by people from the ancient kingdom or nature's creation. If it was not made by ancient kingdom then maybe something else. Then later on the ancient kingdom mimic it properties and created different kind of devil with minimal drawbacks. His devil fruit might not even recorded in the book.

When thinking about it, it makes no sense for someone to make a devil fruit power that cannot live on Earth. So it should be a creation from outer space. Remember Enel's cover story? those murals look like Egypt's pyramid carving and coincidentally Imu also has connection to ancient Egypt. Could he be from the moon?

I also thought about the enel connection, but my idea was the redline structure itself could be from the moon (and by extension lunarians, hence the name), and the origin of the DF could be the moon itself. I personally think with so far how imu behaves he is actually human/from earth. I also have the enel cover story in mind and i wonder if oda asked specifically to not adapt that cover story as it could spoil to much.

I have no idea how they create the Red Line from the moon as the moon is still intact, but if there is a second moon which will make it works. My idea is they blow the second moon apart, these asteroid fragments orbit the Earth like Saturn's ring, then they use gravity to slam them into the Earth. However, I cannot find any info to support my idea. So it sounds like bs.
