Again, you are bringing Sanji vs Queen and I have clearly said multiple times that Oda intended to go with tech path until he made Sanji ditch RS which happened before IJ.

Differences were clearly there before that.

Luffy and Zoro got training twice - Sanji didn't.

Luffy and Zoro were clearly showing visible application of haki more often than Sanji. Infact in case of Sanji with exception of CoO and invisible CoA (which one can deduce because of ability to hit logia) , we didn't get much at all.

Both got Advanced haki while Sanji didn't even get advanced CoO.

What Sanji did get clearly was RS which he put up few times and even used it in combat once. (All 3 times in early stages of an arc) Then oda made him ditch it and we got IJ.

I think it's just difference of how we perceive Sanji's growth.

My bone of contention is if Oda really wanted to have Sanji having same haki boosts like Zoro and Luffy then he should have given him similar haki growth from the get go.

Luffy and Zoro were using haki infused fighting styles since TS while Sanji really didn't except for few instance of Coo and even in this case we didn't really get to advanced CoO while Zoro and Luffy got advanced haki.

Why even explored RS at all if haki was the plan from the get go?

It's more like Oda wanted something different for Sanji. A tech led path to reach to the top. He got RS concept and tried it few times and it didn't get receive well with the readers and he ditched it.


Gaban scolding Luffy to get serious kind of also reflects oda trying to change direction despite him clearly saying he likes G5 because G5 carefree attitude didn't get good reception

"Invisible CoA" doesn’t mean anything, hardening isn’t an advanced form.

He would have done getting stronger if he kept relying only on Germa genes + tech. We saw the limits of those abilities, haki was the only way to keep growing stronger.

I think that was the point, his exoskeleton compensates the fact he only has basic CoA. There’s a good chance he’s never gonna get ACoA.

I wonder why she wouldn't make note of it considering there's a war going on and she doesn't know that Queen can do that, as opposed to Sanji who knows that it'd be Queen making the sounds and it's not just the typical loud noises the soldiers are making

Exo combined with basic CoA is probably equivalent to CoA emission in terms of power anyway. Add to that IJ and it’s even better.

I think Zoro has emission, he just lacks internal destruction. Sanji lacks FS, which is the CoO equivalent of internal destruction. That’s why I don’t understand how Zoro’s CoA growth is greater than Sanji’s CoO growth.
