Well, I am not comparing the difficulties of the two fights, but rather their similar goals. Exactly 1,000 chapters ago, Zoro aimed to grow stronger by cutting steel (unknowingly through Ryuo/CoA Haki), and now he needs to pierce a steel heart with CoC Haki.

So, having the fight conclude 1,000 chapters after Mr. 1's defeat would be fitting.

Regardless, I think it should end before the Chapter 1200 milestone. Same with Sanji's fight. Chapters 1194 and 1195 would be a good time to give them the main focus before the story shifts back to Imu's fights.

Ideally, I also want Zoro to achieve a new power-up.

At the very least, I hope he gets a unique visual indicator for his conscious CoC Haki, so we can actually see the difference.

Maybe KOH itself can become more complete and efficient, kind of like Incomplete Ultra Instinct (Omen) vs. Perfected Ultra Instinct (from DBS). A visual difference could reflect that.
