Zoro's Enma is a power-up coz Shusui already was blackened by Haki. Enma's not a black blade and Zoro has to forge this new sword.
Shusui's a legendary sword from Ryuma who was the "strongest in the world".
But the problem with Shusui was that Zoro wasnt using his proper black blade.
Now, he has Enma and Wado to forge into a black blade and then he will be unstopable
Enma is both a great buff and a potential nerf under certain circumstances. It allows you to utilize more powerful attacks by applying your Haki to larger degree, but empties your pool more quickly. It requires extremely precise control on how much Haki you should apply to it. After all, the difference between throwing an extremely powerful slash and powerful enough slash can cost you a life in the case of Enma (suppose enemy has 70 health. You can throw a slash worth of 70-80 HP or you can throw a slash worth of 150 HP. Both will get the job done, but the second one will be fatal for you as well when your Haki pool runs low. The trick is to be able to determine and utilize the first one in Enma’s case.)
One side of me finds him right. After all, he spends time on the manga and needs breaks due to over-exhausting himself.
Other side of me finds him extremely lazy that takes way too much time to progress the story while taking too many frequent breaks.
It is official. Oda is not the Oda who worked for more than 16 hrs a day. Right now Oda is just lazy ass like us. Irony of him to say One piece will be finished in 4-5 years. Oh maybe he can finish it by off paneling all the fights and many other important stuff.
Why the fuck all the Japanese authors who has long running series suffer with health issues.
