Capone screamed in pain, while Luffy gets KOd. Hmmm, obviously this proves Luffy has better endurance.

Kaido's attack was stronger, but BM used multiple attacks so...

Also, Boundman got KOd by BM, no named attack, but she did use haki.
Are you gonna compare BM using her fists versus a named again attack? Lmao come on man, Capone took an attack that’s utterly casual.

Luffy got hit by a named attack, Queen tanked her blows and took more severe damage but was relatively unharmed.

Bege screamed in pain after one punch lol
I thought he was highly impressive he took multiple blows from pissed off Big Mom and managed to push back Oven successfully and saved his wife

I don't remember Luffy taking a direct hit from Big Mom but we also have to take into account he's rubber unless haki or a Blade was used on him
Not nerfed, he simply met his match.

Law is a top 3 supernova, alongside Kid and Luffy. Hawkins is in the bottom barrel scraping pokemon cards.
Law hasn't displayed anything to place him in the top 3 of the supernova the only person who is concrete at the moment being above them all is Luffy and that is also due to panel time compared to the rest

Hawkins was countering Law no problem (his Hax is not as successful against Hawkins), but I do think Law would win in a 1 V 1 but Hawkins is not at the bottom of the totem pole.

Hawkins was always going to be a weak character. His ability to tell the future is a double-edged sword. It means he won't take the kind of risks that makes people grow stronger. It's actually reflected in his small bounty hike in the two years. He didn't confront pirates he had low chances of winning against and only attacked noobs like Brownbeard. I'm not surprised Law smacked him hard.

While technically not upgrading his doll supply isn't a Nerf. Oda just decided that was his limit.

Him not replenishing his stock before the fight is tho. Idk why Oda did that part it's angerin, the boy had nice hax. Tho I'm not sure how much it would've changed. Law still has plenty of ways to take his life's.... Coincidentally Hawkins only chance at being alive after this chapter, is if law used mes. But if he did it basically confirms law can bypass the dolls anyway.

The fight being offpaneled means he could've, and likely did use his straw transformation. Yet still got clapped.

All an all he had a good run. He became the most noticable BP at the moment. So he wasn't done completely dirty.

1. Oda probably felt 10 dolls limit was optimum for Hawkins. Given he also has other things up his sleeves.
2. This point is valid. Why didn't Hawkins replenished his dolls supply. Maybe it needs a certain mechanism or procedure that is time taking or take tolls on HAWKINS stamina.
3. The fight was offpaneled we don't know if Hawkins used Goma no sou or not. Maybe he did, or maybe he didn't got an opportunity to use it.

Anyway Law was ought to win out of this one, he is more imp SN and kinda needs to be set up for much greater things in the final war, especially for Kaidou fight. After getting caught by Hawkins, i guess we should have seen this coming, not him escaping Prison by conspiracy bt beating Hawkins i.e.

People keep saying Law's cuts won't work on him as if Law is holding a dildo. If the room cuts don't work Law can simply use normal swordplay. He has been stated to be a proficient enough swordsman.

Third, I don't know how you guys are taking it but to me it's Drake who is getting played here by Hawkins and Law. Whole Hawkins and Law scenario seem to be a setup to me by these two especially when we consider that they two are the smartest SNs we have.
Interesting read bt doubt it. Only reason to plan a setup for Drake would be if he is Loyal to Kaidou and will need to make the situation as real!/believable as possible, to make an appearance that Hawkins tried his best to not let Law escape. Bt
1. Hawkins is the one itself who captured Law, less chances for em to actually plan a setup.
2. Drake(if silhouette is him) freed Law, so one thing is clear he is not loyal to Kaidou and hence no need for a setup.

I also find that amusing. Either way law won, the best Hawkins fans can hope for at this point. Is law using mes to enslave him instead of outright killing him.

Claiming Hawkins was nerfed implies detailed knowledge of how his ability works, which we simply do not have.

How his damage gets transferred, is the limit of the damage based on his durability and endurance or his doll victims, is maybe the limit of his dolls 10 in general, does he have to consciously uphold the connection to the dolls and so forth, all things that would further illustrate his powers but information we do not have.

Having said that, i never found Hawkins to be particularly impressive, he can stretch a fight. He survived attacks pre-TS from Kizaru that far stronger fighters would not have survived but ultimately, it´s not that great, at least for now.
