I will always remember it. I got into the series in 2005 and was around for the early Arlong Park days. People did NOT like the pacing and called it Skypiea 2.0

Oda's pacing was always almost unbearable to read on a weekly basis, he has a bad habit of focusing on unimportant stuff , didn't he say that he wanted Alabasta to be much longer?

Sanji beat some Yakuza clowns -> Then played with Page One -> Saw Nami Naked(Always a win) -> Then played with two SN -> Neg diffed some gifters -> Clashed equally with a Calamity.

Zoro was on the run from civilians -> captured by civilians -> beat some unimportant magistrate -> lost his sword again(The guy need better security for his possessions) -> Koed by a pleasurer -> Played by Kyoshiro -> beat some fodder ninja but not really as we see them totally fine in the banquet -> Spit on by Apoo -> Struggled with 3 gifters -> Saved by random samurais from said gifters -> And spit out by a Calamity.

Yeah... Zoro need some lotion for his red ass after all the rape he suffered this arc. LoL

Luffy and Zoro being together is cool, but they havent really accomplished anything together in the arc, its really just been cool panels of them standing next to each other...... If Oda's gonna have them be together give us moments like this. Let these characters loose like you used to

I don't think anyone is going to cry for the Scabbards, the only death that can have the same impact as Ace's is Law's

The bandana doesn't increase his power either and look how he puts it on in many occasions in the middle of a battle that is getting serious. If that has symbolic meaning strong enough to take the trouble, then this "swords on the left" thing could too. And what, now he suddenly realized he's in Yonko territory and decided to switch sides from one panel to the other? And what about Enies Lobby, didn't he feel like the World Government and a group of assassins whose leader humiliated both Luffy and him were a serious threat? After almost thirty years of manga he now decides that he will start taking things seriously?

He definitely should have someone to say "STICK TO THE FUCKING PLAN" before Oda adds stupid stuff or fluff during the chapters.

At least when we are at a serious moment like a fucking war.

I really like that oda is pushing Luffy&Zoro mvp for this arc but I dont like to ruins my own experience with so many breaks.
