Future Events Should Luffy solo Kaido?

I mean still... if Luffy can't defeat a Yonko by himself then him being able to defeat Blackbeard who will be at that time even stronger than Roger doesn't make sense. Blackbeard eating multiple DF should pay off, Blackbeard is going to be the strongest in history and for Luffy to be able defeat someone like him means that his power progression should be systematically. Luffy vs Blackbeard is going to be his thoughts fight, tougher than his fight against Kaido otherwise Kaido would have been the antagonist instead of Blackbeard. Blackbeard on top of his overpowered DFs can take away Luffy's DF abilities, the fact that Luffy has been straggling against YCs made people to believe that Luffy can't defeat Kaido, and thus he can't defeat Blackbeard too, and if Luffy will not be able to defeat a Yonko by himself before his fight against Kaido then even I don't see Luffy having 1v1 against Blackbeard. Some people even say it's going to be Luffy and Shanks vs Blackbeard.

Blackbeard is too weak to be the strongest in history. Not even close.

OT: Luffy doing even half the work against Kaido is a stretch considering how many people will take Kaido on.
If he does 20% of the job, he can consider himself lucky.

I think luffy will definitely solo a top tier pre teach even if its not kaido
Whether its shanks/linlin in elbaf or maybe even 1 of the admirals

Supernova aren't serious rivals, there's blackbeard for this. Oda just having fun with the pseudo-rivalry interactions. he already failed at doing this when you have Luffy saving Law and then finishing Doflamingo, Luffy beating a yonkou first mate, Luffy having 1.5 billion bounty, Zoro beating Kidd's first mate. (Zoro was nerfed and fighting 1 vs 2 so no excuse) . While the most impressive thing another supernova did is beating snack and vergo. I don't believe Luffy will solo but he will certainly do the biggest part of the work.

Well Kaido was at least hyped to heavens in his introduction and may be the strongest postskip.
Top tier powerlevels haven't really been inconsistent when they face each other, it usually happens against weaker people.
If Luffy solos his ass with no asspulls and still struggles post wano against any bbody then that's bad writing.

thats my only issue, because i remember how hype i am when Supernova being introduced in Sabaody, and if Oda decided to make Luffy SOLO Kaido, then for me its a bad writing on Oda's part because he failed to hype up the Supernova.

But if he take a big part of defeating Kaido, im not gonna surprised but at least he, Kid, and Law take a big part too.

Also I can prove Crydo DC isn't impressive at all (for a top-tier) and Luffy should be able to tank his club strike next time.

Oden mid diffed Kaido a while ago and please don't bring up 20 years gap BS.

If Oda wants to keep things consistent then he should first confirm that Kaido was or at least is stronger than Oden.

Second, he should show as that Kaido has the strength to defeat another top tier in 1v1.

And third he should explain Oden's comments about "no one being able to take down Kaido in their generation" and only then I can agree with you.

He will not since there will still be guys like Blackbeard and Im who will be much stronger than Luffy/Kaido. Also 1v1 doesn't necessarily mean that Luffy should be stronger than Kaido or even equal to him.
