It is not very reasonable to compare the strength of Ryuma and WG four hundred years ago with the current strength of the WG\ Marines and the WSS.

I believe there are significant differences between the two lmao.

What was the difference in the Oars fight? Here, we have at least 4 (possibly 5/6) low high tiers. In the Oars fight, the strongest on the Straw Hat side was Zoro, Sanji and Franky, but that didn't stop the other Straw Hats from getting their attacks in.

just because akainu sent people to capture mihawk doesnt mean they are going to succeed at capturing mihawk

they sent a fleet to stop whitebeard and shanks meeting and it got destroyed

and they sent 23 ships to monitor whitebeard and they all sunk instantly

marines are always wrong when they think they can defeat someone, mihawk isnt getting captured

The World Government and Marines have gotten stronger under Akainu's watch. They were able to skirmish with the Blackbeard Pirates, and cause them to retreat.
