To the people defending Kaido and Oda, how would you guys feel if Vivi was suddenly slicing and dicing Crocodile just because she had an Alabasta flashback. That is the equivalent to what’s going on with Kaido and the Scabbards right now

the scabbards were always vicious fighters that was not something that was just recently addressed in a flashback, they added on what they already had and gotten even stronger. vivi was just a princess from the very start

What was the difference in the Oars fight? Here, we have at least 4 (possibly 5/6) low high tiers. In the Oars fight, the strongest on the Straw Hat side was Zoro, Sanji and Franky, but that didn't stop the other Straw Hats from getting their attacks in.

oars wasnt hyped as someone who couldnt take damage
oars isnt suprised that the people damaging he's hurt
kaido's durability is the difference here not the fact that scabbards can get their attacks in.

People need to realize that this is no different than when the Straw Hats teamed up against Oars. The gap between him and them individually was miles apart, but since they were working together they were able to hold their ground against him for a bit before Nightmare Luffy had to come in and save them.

I think the main issue here is that Oda is using the scabbards to damage Kaido before Luffy and him fight, rather than the people they predicted that would do it. We all know damn well everyone was onboard with a team up to weaken Kaido, and now that it's happening, it's all of a sudden an issue.

It was not miles apart, Zoro woulda soloed Oars if it wasn't for the plot

I am not sure it will be that much of an issue to be honnest, even if Kaido is not so invulnerable anymore it will still be an epic challenge to really put him down, especially if he turns out he is an Awakened Zoan which is very likely given the long time and the many fights and experiences he had with it.

Good for them, they still arent capturing zoro’s final opponent which means me saying the marines are always wrong about the force they sent out to stop someone is true

they sent a fleet to stop whitebeard and shanks meeting and it got destroyed

and they sent 23 ships to monitor whitebeard and they all sunk instantly

marines are always wrong when they think they can defeat someone, mihawk isnt getting captured

I didn’t say he would be caught. There is no justification for this at all. On the contrary, I am more than sure that they will not be able to catch any Shichibukai. Unless, of course, a new invention is used to capture them, which should replace them. Indeed, according to the law of the senen genre, Oda must hyip them.

His Sanzen Sekkai did more damage to Oars than nightmare Luffy. If Oars was actually alive, that attack woulda killed him
