Akou didn't compete with them, but survive. He was getting chopped up and tried to delay the inevitable as long as he could.

Win the battle which is a full scale war, not a 1v1. The Minks stated that they won all battle grounds, but not the one where Jack was in it. They couldn't push back Jack. Dude was carrying his team, just like on Wano. Jack is always put against the odds, it's an issue of him being retarded.
Jack looked better against both Base Dukes when they fought. Inu was bruised up and tired while Jack was totally clean.

Jack likewise couldn’t defeat or seemingly even injure the Dukes. How was he above them when he had 5 days straight to injure one of them one time but Oda never seemingly cared to show that happening?

If we dismiss that then by this logic Fuji also wasn't superior to Sabo during their clash.

The situations are not even remotely comparable and you know that lol. Fuji was actively jobbing against Sabo with Sabo begging him to fight seriously, and yet Sabo was still losing. Don’t even know how you can compare that to bloodlusted maniacle Jack failing to scratch the dukes for 5 days straight.
