Well thats not true at all.
Zoro has been brought up by wano natives just like any wano samurai. Zoro was called mr bushido (mr samurai) by vivi has been called a ronin in wano with even hiyori calling him a samurai. Not the same as luffys gag when he had the nidai.
I buy that Zoro reminds of a samurai because, well, it's obvious, but he isn't a samurai per se. A samurai is a warrior from Wano, and while Zoro could very well fit the criteria so could Luffy depending on how Oda builds the story. Certainly, how Gear Fourth is directly based on Nio statues, was compared to a Japanese deity by Hyogoro and this chapter's balloon ("muscle balloon") of Oden performing that very pose could be hinting at something. But let's get that right, I see more of a samurai in Zoro than in Luffy, but at the end of the day the "samurai" in the world of One Piece are the warriors from Wano (funnily enough, Sheepshead and Ginrummy had this very discussion that pretty much clarified what I'm stating).

IMO Triceratops is more popular than Ankylosaurus and Sasaki's real/fake horns is similar to Triceratops.
i mean if Oda go with Ankylosaurus, it will be an unfortunate we missing a Triceratops Zoan user (for now).
We are also missing T Rex lol, surprised at how that hasn't been shown off yet either. you'd think one of the calamities would have had it.

If only there were an Ace lmao

we still have folks with that, Avalo Pizzaro or maybe the dude from gorosei.
T-Rex is a strong dinosaurs so i dont think we will see in this arc unless we have "Ace" of the beast pirates

Its legit. I checked the Korean translation and they left the Japanese text. It talks about about Act 3 ending soon. Pretty crazy how its lining up with a lot of our views about the Act structure. Act 3 ending soon indicates worldly updates about Sabo/Vivi/Hancock happening soon and also signifying most of the fights won't happen until Act 4. Act 3 mainly was Scabbard focused, which is good. Right now we are getting the "tragedy" or downfall of that plotline.
Well Act 4 confirmed then! 5/5 chapter just for that! Everything about Wano has been shaping up just how I wanted it. Jinbei joining for real, the weaker strawhats vs the flying six, Carrot vs Perospero, and now the raid will likely fail. Just gets better and better!

anyone who read about kabuki act structure knew this. act 1 is slow and introduces the characters. act 2 is a build to a conflict. act 3 is conflict and a tragedy. act 4 is the longest act and is almost entirely fighting. act 5 is resolution.

I think that was obvious, but it came down to the structure being guessed nearly back at the beginning of Act 2 because of how Oda was building off of a general Kabuki play, which is something.

I recall even people guessing generic arc plot to go with it, in that:

- Act 1: Setup
- Act 2: Plot Building (proven true)
- Act 3: Conflict Escalation and the "big" flashback (proven true). The tragedy part hasn't been exactly proven yet but its clear its heading in that direction, at least on failure for the Scabbards
- Act 4: All the battles; longest Act (yes I agree)
- Act 5: Resolution/Epilogue

Its cool because Act 3 ended up being mainly Scabbard focused but the next 40-60 chapters that make up Act 4 will be super pirate centric outside of the general samurai conflict with Orochi and his army. Act 4 i believe is going to be pivotal to this arc and the series as a whole, but I'm mainly excited for the break between Acts 3 and 4, because Oda promised he was going to show us the fates of Sabo, Hancock and Vivi, as well as propel us forward towards escalating some sort of final conflict.

I like the expressions Oda gave the Scabbards after Kaido got back up from their assault.

They look so dejected. The samurai poured their hearts and souls into this act. To see it all crumbling down and that they came nowhere near taking Kaido out like Oden must be brutal. Even though they said they were resigned to their fates, I can't imagine they felt things would end up being this hopeless. Oda communicates this well with Kin'emon, Kawamatsu and Ashura.
