Personality wise different from Nami though and her hair design is different from any other character we’ve seen thus far. What do you want a character who has a superiority complex?

Yamato haters barely have any ground to stand on so they come up with outlier things like She's Nami, she barely resembles her anyways.

With the rhythm that she has in the last chapters it seems the opposite.

The only thing that can drag her to not navigate with SH, is that all scabbards die. And she was forced to stay with Momo.

But I think that would make you hate her even more, imagine how inconsistent the character would be, if she abandoned a dream she had held for more than 20 years . If that happens I will definitely become a Yamato hater.

Yamato brings nothing to crew. Starting with relevance ending on her backstory and motives.

Her look is pretty similar but most One Piece girls show quite similar facial features so it is not an argument to call her a copy imo.

A character should first of all judged by their personality in my opinion. If she has an unique one she can already be labeled as ok the way I see it.

Fact check, Most real life pirate crews are Sausage fests, as are Roger Pirates, Whitebeard pirates, Red Haired Pirates, Nine Red Scabbards, Spade Pirates etc. We don't want more than two girls in the crew. This is a Shonen, not a Shoujo.

So I simply go with my own judgement which regardless is irrelevant for me as well in that I don't care about facial features much when it comes to One Piece character. I think it's pretty subjective. I don't see them exactly equated but I can spot some decent similarities in their look.

But overall most people should be capable to have a decent grasp out of the thing, it's about looking two faces, not setting on Mars.

But it's like I'm saying, If anything's at fault it's Oda's Drawing Style. He may not see it, But he still also makes them different enough. And it also looks like he's actively doing sdo.

I understand all the arguments against her (unless the flimsy “She looks like Nami” bullshit is still being used), and they’re all valid to some extent...and yet, none of them matter, because it’s already been decided in so many ways that Yamato is leaving Wano with the SHP :cheers:
