If not I like the fact that she has an insane obsession with Oden, makes her unique in her personality compared to the other girls in the crew. I think that her personality is very interesting and we have not yet fully acknowledged why she is the way she is.

What we know is that she got enamored with Oden and his actions on his day of execution. seeing how manly spirited or whatever he was, Drove her to what she is now.
Bro I understand many of your points against Yamato. But as the series goes, you have a good chance of being disappointed post Wano.
Yeah Yamato is a character introduced at the last minute and is created to bring glory to Oden even after death.
But precisely that is not an argument against their union, quite the contrary. I'm sure Oda portrait himself as Oden, and Oda created her to have Oden in the SH and continue to glorify him.
Like it or not, the character sells, either because of her appearance or because of her strength, even Oda included her on a cover, being that she has only appeared in 6 chapters. And it seems that Oda more and more tries to draw his face different from the rest of the women of the OP universe.
Whether she joins or not, you'll have to see her as often as Law.

Indeed and I'm curious what triggered such affection in her mind. I hope we will understand more of her childhood. For example no one would have thought that Law went through all of those daunting stuffs. Wonder what she went through instead, she is Kaido's daughter after all.
Luffy freeing from explosive shackles that is Motivation or desire to help him cause. She didn’t know her father meant what said. She had fears that could be true. We haven’t seen Yamato upbringing what was like. What’s wrong child being something that they parent set them out to be? Sometimes child wants do something else. Yamato thought her father would respect wish wanted that wasn’t the caseZ What if that child wants life style that different from the parental figure. Luffy didn’t end up become marines because grandfather. Nami didn’t end up become marine after Foster mother May we killed by pirate. She even notice even marines can be corrupt be bad like pirates.

When I talk about motivation. I’m Specifically referring to luffy having impact on other characters lives. Seeing someone’s actions on what they do for them or for other person does give luffy and other members respect him as person. This why during the separation characters can reflect on what Luffy did for them to join his side to help him become man going to be on top that wanted help him accomplish there own goals in the process.
Yamato would face more backlash being yonko’s child that ruined there country for 20 + years. Not just by her father’s crew but by wano citizen. The One piece world very discriminatory base on lineages like criminal acts, people who oppose the government, and your child of criminal. Just because aiding the ally forces doesn’t mean the world will automatically trust her as person. Sure Momo some of samurai could try voucher for her. But the citizen of wano and others outside wano are not so sure about this if they can fully trust her base 20 years rule and oppression by her father. Even though she had nothing do with it the world doesn’t see that way. Knowing this aspect she fits a lot with straw hats. Especially knowing that cp0 is there she she is likely going get bounty on her head. Which would cause her to leave as she originally attend.

You know luffy told her look after momo right? Yamato ask luffy if he was sure about this? Yamato it only makes sense since oden. That make him my son. She is not really the sharpest character it’s creepy but it is pretty funny I got to say in my opinion. Yamato could still develop when interacting with momo give some time.

Personality wise different from Nami though and her hair design is different from any other character we’ve seen thus far. What do you want a character who has a superiority complex?
